I don't think anyone or anybody is expecting much from them this season. No running game no tight ends, possession receivers, bad bad o line that just got much much much worse w losing pouncey and an aging d. A coach that is a rah rah guy without talent isn't a recipe for success either.

Steelers offense at home opening day is probably the most embarrassing thing I have seen in a long time. So glad I am not a Steelers fan  :mj07:

During this game I heard Dan Fouts blowing him. He bought some time and threw a completion, and Fouts said, "We should just call this the Roethlisberger, because no one does it better."

Steelers are old.....have 0 running game.....and no big play maker on offense. They will struggle majorly unless some no name steps up and shines unexpected. Big Ben is a very solid QB.....not his fault when they surround him with shitty talent. Losing Mike Wallace puts a huge hole in that offense and they did nothing to replace it. Phillip Rivers has come across the same scenario over in SD.

Most likely going to lose Pouncey for year, Howling Stephens tears ACL, Foote doesnt look good with torn biceps, and Suisham bad hamstring going to be out a few weeks at least. This team has poor backups to begin with along with all the other things noted.

Pittsburgh Steelers you have just been entered into the Clowney sweepstakes.

Who gives a fuck what Fouts says. I'll tell you this, put Peyton Manning behind this offensive line and his career would be over. Ben has done alot with so little for years. Last time Pitt had a running game was 2005 with Bettis.

He is a good QB, but he never has been and never will be great. And lack of a running game isn't anything to bitch about in today's NFL. He always had that great defense to lean on, but now he does really have nothing. Lean times for Pitt right now. :violin:

He was great early in his career, owns alot of rookie records and in todays NFL you cant win Super Bowls on defense alone. But his style combined with their offensive line problems the past 3 years have hurt Pitt. I still think if you put him behind an offensive line he is as good as anyone. Manning is great for fantasy stats but I'd take Ben in February.
