She looked the Feds in the face and lied to them. And they
were able to prove she lied.

You just don't lie to federal investigators in the US.

They don't take kindly to that. And to top it off she was
smug about it thinking she is untouchable.

The lesson to our children is money and power will
not allow you to lie to the police.

Too bad she wasn't a baseball player, cheating and lieing
she could have probably gotten off.

My prediction would be that she will serve some time eventually
after staving it off for as long as possible on appeal.

Her company as it sits will be sold and the name changed.

Then when she gets out, she will start a new company and
be right back on top after alot of hard work on her part.

Come on, Martha still has 300 million shares worth of stock in her own company valued at 10.56 a share. Not including many other things she is into. I think thats 3 billion in stock alone.

She will recover from this. She was in Fortune Magazine listed
as one of the most powerfull and richest woman in America.

Scott I agree!

Anthony, she is guilty, it is obvious. The fact someone else is guilty and still not convicted has nothing to do with her being guilty or not guilty. I have not followed the Lay case, but here's hoping he gets his we the working man are fed up with this crap. It is eating at the very root of capitalism. Why invest in stocks if some manipulator is going to come along a fix the game. Overreach? A. most man don't like her, she comes accross as a smug TNUC (grab a mirror if you can't figure that word out). B She covered up and lied. End of story slam the cell door closed.

Trossi, I think so. It surely is with me and the wife knows I want nothing in the house with her name on it.

NEXT !!!!!!!!!

Scott I was agreeing to your previous post not the latest one.

Far from over yet--they already have grounds for appeal. The judge told jury they could not let Martha not taking stand influence their decision---and they interviewed "one" juror after trial and 1st words out of his mouth was something bout her "looking down on jury" by not taking stand.

Now......if we could only get Rosie O'Fat to be locked up in the cell right next to her.....

I sure do wish someone would pin something on this blob soon

I would love to charge her with crimes against humanity......cause she's completely ruined what once was a glorious image of lesbianism in my mind

LOL, when Rosie came out of the closet it had to be a walk in closet.

Ya know.....this blob is every bit as cruel as Martha to people when she's not on television.....thats what tops it all off for me. She was totally repulsive on her daytime show...and I hated her long before I heard of the remark she made to one of her staffers that was a cancer survivor.

And then I have this image of her munching carpet that I cant get rid of......and it just RUINS everything

I think she'll get 18 months. Then subtract 4 1/2 months for good time. That leaves 13 1/2 months. She'll probably do nine months in lockup and the rest in a halfway house, just like Pete Rose did.

When she get's out she'll still have about 500 million in the bank.
She'll do easy time. they all love her and she has enough cash to buy herself just about anything she wants in there.

Then she'll return to baking cookies on tv. She should have no problem finding work. She'll write a book that will go straight to the best seller list.

Kinda sad but all true.

Only in America can you go from convicted felon to getting
a book deal for a million.

My local Chicago Sun Times had more pictures of bull-dikes (like Rosy and Alderman Mel's daughter) than one of BTJ's coffee table catalogues.:tongue :tongue
