Between Green Bay and Iowa City
NCAA YTD: 8-14 (-7.41*)
NFL YTD: 11-5 (+7.47*)

This is the week for my annual pilgrimage to Green Bay. Gotta check out the latest hardware of the 13 Time NFL World Champions, and pay my respects to the men that made their journey my reward.

No computer access from 6:00 a.m. on Saturday until about 11:00 p.m. on Monday. Unfortunately, it's never been a very successful week for my wagering . . . If I don't manage to at least tread water this week in the NCAA, then I'll likely be swimming upstream all the way until Bowl season.

Undeterred, this is the first week I think I'm liking the college card at least as well as the NFL card.

Stanford(-21') over UCLA (1*)
- - If nothing else, this line won't be moving against me if I have some buyer's remorse, but I'm with a large group of fellow travelers that won't be having any such inclination.

Baylor(-4) over Kansas State (1*)
- - This spot is no better for K-State than last week was for Miami. Baylor may not be the Detroit Lions of the 2011 NCAA season (or maybe they are), but they look just as ready for this next early test.

Boise State(-27') over Nevada (1*)
- -

Arizona(+13') over USC (1*)
- -

Colorado(-3) over Washington State (1*)
- -

Michigan(-20') over Minnesota (1*)
- - This is a bad Minnesota team that is being asked to deal with a lot. I wasn't too sold on the Brady Hoke hiring, but now I'm pretty sure they have a Michigan man coaching Michigan, which means the Little Brown Jug is in good hands for this season.

Texas A&M(-2')(-115) over Arkansas (1*)
- - The question here is if either team is the most pissed or the better equipped to bounce back. I think the bounce back edge goes with the IMO better team at this neutral site.

Just one observation that I need to get off my chest about the overall play I've seen this year in NCAA football. My observation is only anecdotal, but I don't EVER REMEMBER so many passes being flat out dropped as I've seen this year. WTF?? On the other hand, my perception is that the field goal kicking has been far better than the norm. Go figure.

Ill be back with at least one more game by Saturday morning. :box2:

PACKERS RULE! :box2:

C Fay is on her way to G Bay also. Goes to a game each year w/ her brothers and others. Keep an eye on her. Good luck w/ the pix. I have several of the same.

smax -

I didn't see your post until I returned. It would have been shocking and cool if I had just sort of bumped into C Fay in Titletown. Maybe next time. :0074

NCAA YTD: 11-18 (-8.86*)
NFL YTD: 13-7 (+7.14*)

Just one of those weeks. I went 3-4, but I look back at my 7 picks and I don't regret a single one, and I wouldn't change a single one. Looking at some of the game recaps, it reads almost like I should have won or pushed 3 of the 4 games I lost, and should have lost 2 of the 3 games I won . . . This week, I'll probably just rack up the losses and the regrets.

Nebraska(-10) over Ohio State (1*)
Virginia Tech(-7) over Miami (1*)
Auburn(+10) over Arkansas (1*)
Iowa(+4') over Penn State (1*)
North Carolina(-13') over Louisville (1*)
Wake Forest(+10)(-115) over Florida State (1*)
Missouri(-4) over Kansas State (1*)
Wyoming(+12) over Utah State (1*)
Arizona State(-3)(-118) over Utah (1*)
