--again no econ genius--but from common sense arena--fail to comprehend how things like increasing unemployment to 2 years will have positive effect on people going back to work.

Okay, doggie, here's a reasonable question, in two parts -

(A). Who ever claimed that increasing unemployment payments to two years would have a positive effect on people going back to work? Show us where/when/and by whom that was said.

(B.) If people are holding off going back to work because they collect unemployment, where are the available jobs going unfilled which people could be working? Tell us, which employers are unable to hire workers? What are their names, and how many of what jobs are they unable to fill?

I won't hold my breath.

Do you have a reading problem? The pick was posted and I expected it to be counted to my total. Why else would I post it? When a pick is posted in that forum it counts. That is the first instance I have ever seen about a pick not counting. And it was not posted after the tournament started, as you suggested.

I don't think you'd find 90% of any group of posters here - or elsewhere - that would agree on issues, especially economic/political issues. But I'm sure you can convince about half the people here - and elsewhere - that you are right.

If you're referring to the subset of black voters, I'd say you are correct. I can't imagine why black voters would not vote for a decent candidate that is a black person for President, considering that man is not named Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson. All things considered, it was a historic election for black people in this country (and other minorities, for that matter), and the alternative of McCain and Palin provided not much of a motivational factor for black voters, that's for sure.

And yes, I suppose you can find minority number subsets of the MadJacks posters that might agree on issues. I wasn't being specifically literal, but I thought you might get my drift.

I see you'd expect black to vote historically for O but had whites voted did same thing for white candidate can you imagine the racial overtones.

On a more, to the point approach, Chad--Per article 70% of folks have group coverage--can you point me to just one forum complaint of someone with group coverage--I can't think of one.

Its same as most social benefits issues--
