I have seen a number of comments regarding Sutton and his shady past...some saying everyone should be given a second chance and others saying he still hasnt really changed...a couple of observations that may give you a better inkling:

1. Since he has been at OSU, no less than 17...count them...SEVENTEEN D-1 players have transferred in...name me one other program that comes close to that number...isnt it kinda strange that many kids would pick this ONE school...or is Sutton that impressive of a coach that kids want to play for him?

2. Supposedly (let's just say a little birdie told me) when the 2 twins from UCF wanted to transfer, Speraw (UCF coach) called Sutton to talk to him personally and let him know how much this would hurt the UCF program...Sutton's comments: those 2 kids have no place in my program and they have no future here...hmmmm...guess he had a change of heart!

He may have changed and be the greatest man since Jesus Christ. I simply dont believe coaches who cheat like that should get second chances. It sets a bad precedent - you can get a way with anything. The payoff for the schools outweighs the penalties right now. Who is the OSU football coach who cheated his ass off, got them into a terrible probation, and ran off to another school? Something Johnson.......oh yeah........Jimmy Johnson. Why on earth is Neiheusal allowed to coach? Could go on and on. My issue isnt OSU or so much "Eddie" as it is what he did and what it means to sports.

If a coach cheats like that he should be banned. Period. A player takes the payoff he should be banned. Period. I wish all the best for the 15 kids he coaches ( although if everyone else at Baylor was getting handouts it makes you wonder about Lucas) but OSU winning it all would simply reiterate that cheating pays.

True the man became a alcoholic and took that to Kentucky with him where he made mistakes and let the program get out of control. He was investigated throughly by the ncaa and was found of little wrong doing(personally) and was cleared to coach again. He is coaching is he not? Just wish you all would let it go. But you keep bringing it up over and over. I have been a OSU fan all my life and grew up a couple of blocks from gallagher-iba arena. That is why I am so chided by your hatred toward Sutton and OSU.
