I think the splitting of the roster ruined the WWE. I used to watch all the time but now I just can't get into it much but I do like to watch Trish Stratus. :D

Agree its not the same split into raw and smackdown. But with wcw and wwf amalgamation this was the only way to go.

Someone did mention that Austin has just served time in prison, is this correct?

Show not the same without the rattle snake. If you agree, give me a hell yeah.

For all you freaks out there, hollow if you hear me.

Nah, Stone cold didnt serve any time, he's on probation and has to take anger mangement classe's lol

The roster split's not that bad, it gives all the "mid carder's" a chance to shine cause before all the "top" guy's would headline Raw and Smackdown...now it's 2 even roster's.

The Royal Rumble is shaping up to be a great PPV.

Possibly Rock vs. Goldberg and Hogan vs. Austin at Wrestlemania. Vince was in Los Angeles (my friend actually saw him at the airport) this week and met with Goldberg for the first time on Wednesday for talks about a possible 'Mania match with Rock and then a rematch the next month, presumably with each wrestler getting a win. Austin is considered an inevitability to return at some point. He turned down the match with Hogan at last year's Wrestlemania, but who knows, maybe he will show up for this year's.

I think a lot of questions might be answered on Tuesday night's Raw X ten year anniversary special on TNN. If Austin shows (I would assume that Rock would show) then that would have to mean that they have something for Austin at Wrestlemania.

WWE has blown so many sure fire money making angles in the past two years it is incredible, and the acquisition of WCW tops that list. I do love the Steiner angle so far, though. The split is tough for any fan to take because if the promotion doesn't keep the internal logic of a world where there are two separate promotions, then how can they expect fans to care?

I am definitely looking forward to the Rumble. Really not a whole lot to see outside of the Rumble, but the Rumble match itself is usually worth it. Disappointed that they are going with 1 minute intervals this year instead of 2 minute intervals.

Even though I don't watch WWE anymore (now that there's The Bachelorette, Fear Factor, High School Reunion and all that reality garbage taking up my precious free time), I'd agree that they've blown it since acquiring WCW. McMahon has made it clear in the past that his company is about "sports entertainment" and not "wrasslin". Well, since getting the WCW roster on board he's had to focus on the latter more than before, which is actually a good thing. A better wrestling product, but lousy for following storylines (some of which have been pretty inane/stupid and lacking the comedy and humor of the past, btw).

So what does Vince do? Split the roster into two brands. A seemingly good move which has yet to yield the desired results. There has to be a dominating storyline, front and center, that will grab the viewer's attention. Maybe with the return of Austin and the Rock, and Goldberg(?), it can take off.

IMO the fans revolted when the then-WWF tried to insert WCW into the mix as a part of RAW. They should've played out the Vince vs. Shane angle instead, with the top WWF vs. WCW stars getting it on. Instead we got mid-carders going against each other. Then when Hogan met the Rock on free TV--while it provided some markout moments for sure--it happened so quickly that it effectively killed any momentum that the WWF had. Hadn't they learned that hotshotting is not the way to go? Maybe it worked in Memphis or ECW, but not for a huge promotion like the WWE.
