was flipping thru tv channels other nite & came across storage wars and watched briefly, there was a guy on the show, Dave Hester, that reminded me of YYZ in appearance, actions, & wit.

Sorry Kick, I don't mean to smash your dreams....the producers of the show fill up those lockers with items. So you are right, the people (characters) who bid on the items do not know what is in them.

Of course you most likely think the Moon landing was staged. It would take about 300 thousand people to "stage" the moon landing so I guess with that logic "staging" a TV show would be a breeze.

I mean do you really think A&E tells three people what is in the lockers and fucks over all the other bidders that show up. They advertise the auctions online, on TV, and in the newspaper, yet they stage the show when people show up. I think that is called fraud.

Millions of people buy and sell stuff everyday.

Not much different from buying and selling anything really. Just a little more risk but a bigger chance at a bigger payoff. If you like to gamble it is a cool job. If you don't like to gamble then obviously not a job you want.

People buy and sell stuff everyday, you never know if you are going to make money or lose money when you buy something that you want to sell.

Just look at the millions of people that try to "flip houses" this is no different really. What about the millions that buy something online, and it turns out to be shit.
