Late Sunday night, after the Pistons dismanteled the Lakers in Game 1, Pinnacle posted this prop:

Will the Lakers win 3 consecutive games in this series:
No -154
Yes +141

I hammered the NO for the limit. The line moved up 3 cents. The line continued to climb, hitting I believe -179 for NO at its apex.

Then I come home today and find the NO at -121?? I hit it three more times for the limit at 121, 126, and 131. The line sits at 131 now. At this low price, worst case scenario, there will be hedge or loss limiting opportunities.

Not to mention I simply cannot see this Laker team playing hard enough and staying focused enough to win 3 in a row against a team as scrappy as the Pistons. For this to happen, they will likely have to take 2 in a row in Detroit, at which the hedging odds will be nice, since they will likely be -1 to -2 at the Palace. If the Lakers are in a position to take 3 in a row, and two will be at home, then they will be down 3-1, and you can just hedge the series right there, becuase the Pistons will be solid favs. Honestly, I cannot understand this line, and seeing how little my action moved the line, I am frankly shocked that there are players out there who were banging the Lakers at that price.

Maybe I'm just off my rocker, but this is one I really have a hard time seeing any other way.

Bombs, Lakers win by 8.

By the way, you owe somebody $500. on our college bet between St. Joe's and Okie St. for who would go the furthest in the tourny.

Excuse me - NO.

GMAN (who I won against, but of course did not collect since he did not post up) and YOU NEVER POSTED FOR THAT BET.

I contacted MJALAM MULTIPLE TIMES regarding your post up and nothing showed. I only stated about 200 times before the tourney that if you did not post up ahead of time to MJALAM, then no play, which you didn't.

Don't come on here and talk bs.

Now, with the price at 240 for YES, would you hedge this? Or would you just sit on the 8 dimes.

Although it is hard for me to see the Lakers taking 4-6 to kill this bet, I could certainly see 5-7 as a possibility. If the series goes back to LA, hedging will not guarantee a profit, actually only be loss limiting. Now is really the only time.

I'd appreciate any advice.

Thanks!
