2-2 yesterday and won a dollar, but I'll always take that over a losing day.

Oaktown +104...I know that Zito has had trouble this year but this is a very nice price for this situation. Zito's record might be poor but his day time era is still only 3.81, while Lee's is 6.15. Oakland is 14-7 this year vs left handed starters while the Tribe only has an 11-17 record vs southpaws. Lee has been solid this year, but his run support has also been high (100) and I don't think he'll get all that much help today.

Total Gut Play:

DRays +151....I'm throwing all capping out the window on this one and playing one premise : Orlando Hernadez should not be laying this kind of chalk for any reason. Yanks own left handers but Hendrickson has been improving and looked very good last time out. I know they are the Yankees, but "El Duque" getting this much respect makes no sense to me.

Last play for the day...

Mets +102...once Leiter became a dog I jumped on it. The Mets have been very good this year about finishing up road trips on a winning note, and based on the way Leiter has been throwing lately I think they will again today. Al's era since May 11th is 1.64 and he has not lost a decision. Willis is 2-5 4.55 at home this season so I like the Mets chances here.

Good luck all and enjoy the short break from stickball.

Not the day I wanted --- my "slide" on sides continues and naturally I passed on a few totals on they all hit.

Oh well, I can't complain this past week has been profitable.

LOL @ LTW2 -- sounds like your Spain trip is going well :brows:

I was looking over stuff from the first half and realize that only four teams are under .500 in the NL (Expos, Pirates, Rockies and DBacks) Does anyone know if the Doggies have dominated the NL because of this? I only ask because these things always seem to even themselves out and NL favorites might be worth looking into.
