strong thursday mlb play.........

playing this one as strong as i played the houston game on sunday over montreal- thus making it one of my strongest mlb plays to date. really like this play:

3 units.....florida (-110) over arizona

really feel like this is a huge pitching mismatch. with burnett out, beckett has to take over the role of marlins ace. and when this kid brings it- its lights out for the opposition. control is a little shaky at times- but his opposition (good) is no dart thrower himself. i expect the marlins to get lots of baserunner while good is out there, and then lots of runners in motion on the basepaths.

youre right- i do feel pineiro is the best pitcher the mariners have, even if he's not the #1 starter. garcia has really underachieved, and moyer is winding down his career. theres no doubt pineiro has the best stuff on the staff.

as far as tonight goes- man, its tough to go anti-mussina with the way he's throwing the ball this year especially at home. but the mariners (aside from the playoffs) have fared well at yankee stadium. i think the m's are a pretty live dog tonight. ive considered playing em- not sure yet though.

(btw- youre right, probability/value is definitely pointing against mussina right now. he's been lights out but faces a stiff test tonight)
