Currently 20-15 ATS STD. Had my 1st losing week of the season in the NCAA.............will make amends with V-Tech +4.5, VA +2, Purdue +3.5, Toledo +5, Mia +6 and Oklahoma +2.5. I could give you indepth analysis, but you can get that info on other threads. I wont lose 2 weeks in a row. I apologize for the 1-3 mark this week, we will win this week.

hey dont sweat it , my man .. you are prob the most entertaining guy in this board; I lost too, woulda had nice week if Hawks woulda showed up (had won 12 in a row at home b4 I touched their jinxed asses), tied too much to them in teaser and got slaughtered ...

believe it or not I kinda like UW this week, mostly b/c if they win they would only need to beat trees to get a bowl ... bonnel gets one more week to get ready ... asu playing better but struggle on rd. ... I have to hand TY kudos, hes done well with minimal talent ...

Washington is one of a handful of teams in Div 1A playing their entire schedule without a bye week.

Few others in the Big 10.

Seems odd.

Thanks Don,

I like all of them especially OKLA. & VTECH

I'm a bit cautious of Toledo though.

I'll take a stab at all 5 anyway.

GOOD LUCK

Don, good luck this week. I have faith you will bounce back. I am with Chill, I like VaTech and OK right now.

I am taking a hard look at MD this week. If they do not turn it over they will beat FL St this week. They are totally jacked up for this game. Ralph is pulling out all the stops. It is my B-day and I will be at the game (well maybe, it is now a 7 o'clock game so I may be out of it by game time). Worth a look.

I also will be playing Buffalo ++. I know they suck, but I think BC just takes a break in this game and rests many players for the stretch drive in the ACC.

Good Luck this week.

Don whats your opinion on Illinois +21 vs Wisconsin? I dont think Wisky has failed to not cover yet......Last weeks score vs PSU 26-12, is a little misleading......I like the Fighting Illini here in this spot against a very physical badger team

Bason I like your side in the FL. St Maryland game. Not a play I want to get involved with, but I agree the Terps should unload the playbook for this one. Watch yourself while in Maryland. If those guys see your DC plates it generally is trouble. When we use to hit HammerJacks in Baltimore we would park my car far away from the club. If those cats found we were from the District, we more than likely gnna end up in jail for fighting. Any time I went to Baltimore I use to keep a bondsmen card in my wallet.

Will do, but remember Byrd Stadium is more or less in DC anyway. I kind of miss the "big hair" HammerJacks days. Now, we more or less tailgate for the Ravens games right where HammerJacks used to sit. Someone has tried to use the name and open one on the other side of Baltimore, but nothing beats seeing Joan Jett at the old one.

Dice, I looked at that play. Just dont know if I want to get in front of that ATS train known as Wisconsin. Had Purdue + points at home last week, and the Badgers just had there way with them. I agree Illinois is playing more inspired ball, but that play is not for me.

I jumped on UVA +2 as soon as it opened, Virginia has move to a -2 favorite. I today I bought NC St. -2 to get off the bet. Most people would think, well you have real value........not always the case. Whoever the public loads up on is not a play I want to on. Im off Virginia

Don, I think that is a wise move, of all your plays, that was the one I liked the least. I just think it is a very difficult game to cap (OK is next in line). Unlike you, I usually wait to bet so I can watch line movements. This is a large part of my handicapping. I just got 5.5 with VATech with my local, he says he is getting killed with Clemson bets, which is always a good sign. I will likely add on if he moves it to 6. I think we will see a good competitive game tonight.

Bason, the only reason I jump on opening lines is to make sure I dont miss out on my best number. For example, Wisconsin open up at Michigan +14.5, it closed at +13.5............as you remember, they lost by 14pts. I would be kicking myself in the ass for a week if I lost a wager like that. Tonight if the number goes to +6, III buy back the other side and move it to the next book. I spend alot of money in vig throughtout the year, but doing business like this has always put me on the plus side of the ledger. I cant count how many wagers I win or get a push on that I should have loss. With these major betting syndicates, computer groups, etc. moving the line around offshore, in college football its hard to determine sometimes how the line will move. The example I made with WIS/MICH is just one of many. In the NFL, its much easier to spot. I do like VA-TECH to win this game outright though.

With the Virginia Tech win tonight that moves my record to 21-15 ATS with Purdue +3.5, Toledo +5, Miami +6, and Oklahoma +2.5 on deck. One tenet that has served me well throughout my sports betting life is to forget what you saw last week. Clemson looked 3 degrees above sensational last week and I was a bit nervous making this play, but thats financial suicide laying points in Blacksburg. After having my first losing week in college football, I have vowed to make amends this week. I plan on sweeping all 5 plays.

betting toledo is putting good money behind a bad football team. no matter how good toledo looks on paper, they look just equally as bad on the field right now. i know youre a value capper. but value doesnt take into account the way this team is starting to quit on the season. most of the other teams you listed all have something to play for. and in virginia's case, theyre at least moving in the right direction. toledo has one game left on their schedule that they will get up for -- bowling green. ive seen this team more than any team in the mac this season. theyre not improving. just seems like the 'oddball' play of the ones you listed. gl for the weekend

GMAN2, people constantly hit my thread every week and tell me they dont like a particular play Im on and I generally just shrug my shoulders and think oh well. However, this time I think the admonishment warrants serious consideration. Your absolutely correct, they did look good on paper coming into the season subsequent to a 9-3 campaign in 05. My record combined in the NFL and NCAA is 37-25 59% and Im leaving the forum with the following plays Puredue3.5, Oklahoma +2.5, Miami +6, and in the NFL Jacksonville +6. This will be my last post. This site has been hijack by a bunch of M. Moore clones. I was lambasted on anther thread for my racist views and Ive come to the realization that its true Im everything you brainwashed people have learn to hate. I keep no pretenses, like Popeye, Iam what I am. I cant coexist with a bunch of race scared librels, so this is it for me. If Im not banned after this post I may frequent this site from time to time ,but for now on III keep my opions to myself. Good Luck to all.

Don, I enjoyed reading your threads...for I feel very much the same way as you do towards life, gambling, politics etc...but...this is a sports forum, and we are only here to share picks and information...why let politics get in the way? ...gl

screws politics.........its just an insecurity thing, most thread starters want their nuts licked(its true:142smilie ).......when someone comes in and critiques their play or gives their own opinion on a game, its  ..........holy **** its a damn Sports forum with differing opinions, umm you'll have that....deal with it......

everybody likes to OWN everything, "this is my thread", "get out of MY thread", "i dont look at your thread so dont look at mine" and wah wah wah.........

"hey look at me, I'm Gazillion and one" +infinity units......."so dont question my picks or you can leave MY thread"........so many damn ego maniacs on here when its suppose to be a community sharing information, bounching shit off of each other and getting your picks ready for the weekend.

But alot of people want to be THE MAN, go be the man somewhere else, if you think you are so much better than everyone else with your vast football knowledge, by the way I just booked Cornell +94........sorry just bustin on ya Don Best, I mean Rasheed Wallace, err Don wallace....

No for real Don, your picks and discussion are appreciated on here, most of that wasn't directed at you, but thats how alot of people come across on here and its annoying quite frankly....

Dude, you just need to relax, hit the bottle some more, post some winners, and backup your info when someone critiques your play or has their own opinion.......So crack open an ice cold Bud Light Mr. "I am the man sports forum guy"

DW,

my 2 cents, and u know i stuck up for you b4, is that you will run into a "few" huge morons on here just like anywhere in life and you can choose to roll with that or run ... most of the guys on here are great ... (shoot, if I quit coaching everytime a parent didnt like me or said I ddint know what i was doing, id have missed out of some wonderful moments)

dice and RC had good advice ...

i had something crappy happen to me today, but what can you do? ... I've always felt if you have your health, who can really harm you?--cept for the laimbrains you empower ...

have a great weekend
