why would anyone want castro hank says......his contract was an asset when he was playing well but he has been shit....and hendricks is nothing special....never a prospect and still isn't great?

You absolutely do that deal. I like Hendricks but he's nothing special & can't see him as more than a #4 starter (which is where we have him). Castro seems to have plateaued a year or two ago & looks like he's regressing. The mental aspect was always a knock on him so you could somewhat tolerate it when he's hitting .280 but his OBP isn't even there now. He finds himself in pitcher's counts more often than not & ends up swinging at balls & taking strike 3's.

It'll be an interesting 72 hours for us. We need another SP, more help in the 'pen (started slowly, pitched well for a while, & now have struggled lately), & need another bat as well. I know Maddon would love someone like Zobrist.
