WSU did do USC in. If WSU would have beat an average UW team, USC would have recieved QW pts and SOS pts. WSU starting QB was out and they played a frosh, and WSU was leading with 3min. left and UW scored TD on last minute drive. How unlucky can USC get. WSU would have GUARANTEED USC A SUGAR BOWL. ND and Hawaii also fawked USC. Its ok though, USC only has themselves to blame for losing to CAL and letting computers decide the Sugar Bowl. I would rather be #1 in the human polls vs computers. ROSE BOWL kicks ass especially playing Michigan. Michigan vs USC in Rose Bowl is about as good as it gets. USC still will get a split NC with a win, which is alright with me especially if it means USC ending the BCS!
Your brought up a good point, AU would also have helped LSU so i guess it is a wash with AU. Although I think if AU played up to their potential, they "could" have beaten LSU. Remember, LSU clearly was outplyed at home against FL and UGA, and struggled on the road against OLE MISS. LSU handled their rest of their opponents with ease, except LSU did play a joke of an OOC schedule. SEC is better than the PAC 10 this year, but LSU did get "weeks" off playing that joke of an OOC schedule. But we do not need to debate that. Congrats to LSU because along with USC they deserved to play in the NC. Hopefully both win a split NC this year because I do not feel OU deserves the "chance" to play for NC. I am in a bind, i want to bet BIG on OU because I think they are the better team but I want LSU to win. Last year I had same problem, I had $2000 to win $2500 ML parlay and Miami was my last bet, and I had MIAMI ML to beat OSU. I wanted OSU to win in my heart but i wanted $$$ more. Well you know how the story went.
