Because the Irish play on Monday. :0074

Haha

Haven't even looked yet, but I woulda guessed the public to be on notredame with all those points.

I'm tellin ya, bama is weak this year.

Hell they needed 3 overtimes to beat the powerhouse that is PITT UNIVERSITY. And that was in Bama.

Imagine what notre dame will do ;)

Louisville +14
Fh +7.5 and ml on both.

Florida can't score. Louisville will keep up

not saying you're wrong about the game, as I'm not playing either side, but people that keep saying what I bolded keep looking like idiots. 100s of threads on the FSU-UF game listed this as their primary reason for taking the Noles.

I have seen you post this same thing I think three times now. I'm guessing you will be on Bama. If this is one of your chief factors in your capping, let me crack an egg of knowledge for ya.

This was a game after midterms week. In case you were unaware, ND is one of the most prestigious academic institutions around. Their midterms don't exactly lend themselves to a good deal of practice time. Remember, the Irish are actually STUDENT-athletes, not he other way around like at most major programs.

If you think the Irish offense you saw on Monday was the same one that played in that Pitt game, then you are in for a rude awakening. It will be very similar to the clowns who watched Kansas get beat by Michigan state in bball, then never saw them play again until they faced Ohio State. Some joker on here said something along the lines of, "Remember the Michigan State game? They aren't even as good of a team as Ohio State. It will be more of the same for Kansas." Way too many cappers fail to realize how much teams grow over the course of a season. This is especially true in college athletics. The ND defense will be its same stellar self as it has been all year. The offense has had a whole lot of time to get better since that Pitt game. Most have no idea how good it will be on Monday. :popcorn2

Louisville - Led the nation in red-zone efficiency offense (scored on 48 of 50 drives).

Florida - Worst passing offense of all bowl teams that don't run a triple-option style offense (114th in the nation, 143.9 yards per game).

Has nothing to do with my capping. Prior game results as far as scores and winners and losers has nothing to do with how I select sides...

Just a friendly reminder that notre dame isn't some unbeatable force that some act like. Said it more jokingly then anything. Problem is, people have different opinions...that's why they play the game....ill have no problem if notredame wins....SEC has had their share....

I have nothing big on this game with bama -8.5....I like notre dame program and love kelly as a head coach...just think its interesting how some notre dame fans have treated this success.

Bama could beat anyteam in the country by 10 pts or more if they play their best.

Just remember, saban in these situations vs young qb's can be scary....notre dame could easily hang around....they could easily get crushed too...

I think kelly vs saban is just as intriguing as the game itself.

The key to this game IMO is can N Dame hang around for 4 qtrs after the physical pounding that Bama will put them thur with their physical ground game..If so you have a cover...I personally have a good size bet N Dame +10.5...But giving serious thought on a buy back..waiting til closer to kick off..

I have been going back and forth on this game all morning and afternoon, what I keep coming back to is I just cant see Louisville scoring more than 14-17 points and their O-line isnt exactly the best. Thinking FLA will be in backfield all game. Louisvilles last three games against Cuse Uconn and Rutgers, put up 26-20-20. Now, the hard part will FLA score TDS or FGS to get to the 28-31 needed to be around or over the point spread.

Same here jr..The key is will Fla get that 1 Defensive score/TO to push it over the total or cover the spread. We've already capped this game to the point where theres nothing else to cap except TO in which you know we cant do...

Jord, before this game goes off, I want to know if Louisville is one of the team you place ahead of Wisconsin.

Here is why my money is on Florida. 4.3 yards per carry average for Louisville's opponents this year, not one of who was worth a damn. What do you think that Florida ground attack will do to them?

I'M thinking this maTCHUP is alot like the Fl st. game last night. Flordia steam rolls the ville 37-6 maybe 34 -10 something like that. Louisville will have a very hard time moving the football.

I haven't watched a second of the game yet actually. I just got home. Fill me in?? Florida offense does what it does. Louisville has the best player on the field and he has made plays?
