win the Heisman if it's the best player. 4.5 sacks against Texas and is by far the best PLAYER in the country on the defensive side of the ball. I know a defensive player can't win, but he deserves it. Best player hands down IMHO!!!

Seriously, Tebow- LMAO... McCoy - How did Mr. Suh's jersy feal... Ingram - I would vote him #2, but Suh is better overall, Gerhardt would be my #3 & is solid, but be real.... Suh is #1 seriously. 4.5 sacks in his biggest game of the year! Give it to the first defensive player ever! in a major college game:00hour :mj06: :toast:

Suh was the bomb overall... Without Suh, Nebraska was the BLACK SKIRTS!!!

Suh wasn't the only player on that Nebraska D, but he and the other D-line set the tone.

I am biased, but I will say this, anyone that has seen Suh multiple times this season says the same thing DD does. We all know it's harder for a defensive guy to win due to the stats disparity. If you never saw Gerhart nor Ingram play, you could look at the stats, look at the SOS, etc., etc. and come to your opinion. With Suh you can't do that. The Big XII championship was a good game for him but that still isn't justice for what he has done the whole season. The disruptions and how he has made the opposing offenses scheme against him is something you only see about once a decade. You have to see him play to understand it. And obviously an average Nebraska team didn't get a lot of national attention outside of a few games this year. But that's just part of the issue with the Heisman voting, over 900 voters with limited guidance, restrictions, evaluations, etc.. I won't get any further on to that soap box though.

He was the most dominant and overall best player in my mind, but I don't think he wins the Heisman. I am impressed that he was a finalist and will finish either 2 or 3 in the final vote.

Oh and the idiots Callahan and Cosgrove (how does he still have a job?) almost made him transfer.

How often does a player like this come along? I would think less than even a great QB. I think it would be hard not to take him as the first pick?
