never considered it personally, but I have been affected by friends who have taken their own lives.
I'm 36 now, and when I was 17, a 15 year old friend of mine from the neighborhood blew his head off with a shotgun. I think about him every day still. I saw his girlfriend recently and his sister. They both suffered greatly and are still bothered by that tragedy (his girlfriend really couldn't cope and ballooned up to 300 pounds; has since had gastric bypass surgery). He left a note, but it was something to do with a disagreement with his girlfriend. If he hadn't taken his life, I'm sure he would look back today and think how trivial it really was.
I'm sure a lot of posters here could give a similar story, but please, just know, that suicide is NOT the easy way out, and it affects people you know the rest of their lives as well. I don't know how many times I've thought to myself, "I wonder if I could have done or said anything to David to prevent him from shooting himself."
Call those numbers posted, see your local clergy, or talk to a close friend, or something.

it hurts it hurts real bad and my head wont help it wont let it go!!!! i should be mad and worried about the important things but i cant i only think of her!!!!!!!!!!
I echo that. I had a friend commit suicide about fifteen years ago. I still wonder what I could have done to prevent it.

AP, we have all been deeply hurt by a girlfriend, wife, fiance doing us wrong. It happens to everyone. I'm sure we've all lost loved ones and couldn't understand why. I lost my mother when I was 22 and it damn near killed me. She was the only person that raised my twin and myself. Never had a father. Suicide is not the answer. I went and saw a psychiatrist a couple of times after she passed away just to keep my sanity. Seek some professional help man!
