It's going to take a better capper than me to figure this crap out today. Here are the early leans and a comment or two. Mia + 1 adv and o, Bos u, SA u, Phoe +2 adv and Sac o.
Unlike Hou who was playing pretty good ball and getting beat in the fourth, Mia is just plain bad. No shooters and play so slow the other team never gets in sync. If Carter don't play today they have a chance to pull this line. Strickland will play at a faster pace and I like the over. The 173 will suck a lot of good cappers into taking the under.

The only other comment is regarding Sac. Just as they were getting used to Webber, he was gone. They were totally out of sync last night and probably will be tonight. The line tonight is where it would have been before Webber and a lot of people are looking for them to be the team they were a month ago. I capped this game with Phoe playing like they are today and Sac playing like they were a month ago. Figured I would give Sac the benifit of the doubt. Still came up with Phoe having a +2 adv.

My SA total is going against a 72% trend that is 19-7 over the last 26 days. Back later with whatever I can come up with.

gsp im with you, these games are confusing. Take toronto there 4-5 in there last 9 at home and have only won one of those games by 5 or more, and 3 of those wins were over memphis by 3, chicago by 5, and denver in ot by 2 in a game they should of lost of not for two late calls. But i cant bring myself to take miami in this situation, i have no idea where there mind state is at this point.

Then theres sa/mil, seems like a blowout no brainer, till you realize that milwaukee has won the last 4 games in this series.

Sac would normally be an easy play for me here, but my goodness watching the way they shot last night was hard to see. This one and the memphis team are the two i like the best....if i play any it will be memphis +`11 1/2 and sac -5.

D, playing Sac tonight is too risky for me. They should be better than last night but I see it like this. This was Stojakovic's team until Webber came back. Here's a guy shooting 50% on the season and taking 19-20 shots a game. Wed he shot 50% but only got 10 shots which tells me that his team-mates weren't looking for him. Last night he shot 3-16. I think the team has forgot who carried them so far this year and it could be working on his head. Also Divac and Pollard are both dinged up. Don't forget that Phoe is playing pretty good ball right now. Good luck

gsp, I love the work you do around here. I read your picks everyday no matter the sport but I am playing Sac tonight. I just think home court in NBA with the upper echelon teams is big. Good luck in whatever you do tonight.

Normally were on the same page, and ill probably pass on sac tonight. However, i have no idea at all what your talking about when you say pho is playing well of late. Theyve been down right awful, and if starbury doesnt bail them out in the 4th last night they lose 4 straight. They were completly outplayed down the stretch at home by the clippers who had zero road wins before they outscored pho in the 4th in pho, and the suns also had a meltdown with a big lead in denver to lose. Like i said, theres to many questions over both these teams, but pho played really well for about a 7 game stretch but hasnt been good ever since that game in nj a few weeks back.

good luck
