I'm not playing today but thought I would make a couple of comments. Last year I posted my "screwy line of the day" award. These were games I advised not getting involved in. I have to say this, there have been more screwy lines this season than I have ever seen this early in a season. Looks like Vegas is trying to get out to a fast start. Today I have a screwy line of the day award. It goes to Sac/mia.

A team (Sac) that is undefeated and winning by an ave of 24 points is playing a team that has not won a game and is giving up 100 per game. Sac is averaging over 103 and Mia is at 91. Even worse, the total is 182'. Of course Mia has only played two games but 186 was the lowest total and against Sac 182' looks rediculous. I would feel that 186 would be low. Mia should also be at least -10.

My take on the game is Mia + the points and under. Also like Sea over and LA over.

While I was writing this the line on Mia droped to 181.

Spock, I would have to go with Sea -7 here. This makes Utah's fourth game in five nights. Malone worked his tail off last night and the legs are first to go. As Malone goes so goes Utah. The total looks a little low because I don't look for a lot of d from Utah.

By the way, I meant the Lakers. Forgot about the LA Clips playing also.

Also remember ur words regarding LAL and knicks. Got burnt on the Knicks Under yesterday so leacing LAL alone.

Any views on Clippers also. They shud be able to beat Detroit at home but Detroit doing all the small things to win the game.

Good that we are on same page with Seattle. I got them at -6 and seems people jumping on them now which may/may not be a good thing.

Spock, the reason I don't like this game is because the Clips have the talent to win it but haven't proved they know how to win yet. They won't play d while Det will. I think as the season progresses the Clips will get better. I liked them a lot last year as a home dog but not sure they are ready for me to put my money on them yet. Can't go with them, can't go against them in this situation. At first glance the total looks a little low but if Det plays good d the winner could have 93 or 4 which maked the line real tight.

Cannot see Miami getting within 10 of Sac, has to be Sac -6.5 for me. Only bet of the night.

Spock, I meant Mia should be getting 10. Guys, the thing about screwy lines is that they look like you can't lose and if you keep playing them you will be a big loser by the end of the year. If I had to play this game I would go with Mia and under but I have been wrong before and I will again.

I am sad to say I did not listen and lost my play on this game.

Happy at least that I recovered most of it.
