I took a pass yesterday because Roger and I were on opposite sides on every total he posted. Thought I would go ahead and throw these out for you to look at. The line on LAL today is real screwy. I come up with the game no better than a pk'em. In one case Tor should be giving points. Now do you see why I am very careful about playing Lakers games? I played them last time out and won but I sure won't touch them today. Here's what I show today. By the way, my totals would have gone 5-3 on the ones I thought were worth considering.

Mia and o, Mem and o and Tor o. I'll say it one more time. Be very careful on anything the Lakers, NY, or Sac are involved in. Where the point spread is concerned, they are very undependable.

I agree with you that the line on LAL is screwy. LAL shouldn't be favored by anybody by 9 and now it is 10'. Something stinks.

Everyone, including Vegas, is saying "LA has to come out of" and what team is more "deserving" than the shorthanded Raptors. But, I'm right with you. The Lakers have screwed me more than any other team in sports (with the Dallas Cowboys right there). The last time I bet on the Lakers was when they made the immaculate comeback against Dallas. I figure I'd get out while the getting is good. Good luck with the pix today...a lot of other action going on ...

Tough beat Joe. I was riding along with you and believe you had the right play all the way. Hard to believe the Knicks could score 31 in the 1st and then only manage 18, 19 and 16 in the next three quarters ... they call themselves pro's? Truly a pathetic effort.
