Kansas City area for who knows how long....
6 teamer, 1 unit bet pays 49:

#961 ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS +187 (Godley/Kershaw)
#964 SAN DIEGO PADRES -126 (Beede/Lucchesi)
#976 SEATTLE MARINERS +100 (Manaea/Hernandez)
#978 HOUSTON ASTROS (Verlander/Colon) -1.5 (-140)
WASHINGTON CAPITALS -150
LOS ANGELES KINGS -140

Arizona/L.A. Dodgers-4:10 pm Godley (Kershaw -- Godley's team is 3-1 vs LAD, 1 this season and 3 last season. He's pitched well and getting better this season, he's mixed his pitches up to better effect we read here, and his team playing and batting darn well...Kershaw been lights out - but his team loses plenty of his starts, mostly due to no run support. Even worse than normal for the start of this season as Kershaw has allowed only 4 ER across 19 innings, but his team is 1-2 in those starts....so this hefty chalk is mostly due to the reputation, not the results. A nice overlay, darn good value...+187...and under 5 innings

Oakland/Seattle-4:10 pm Manaea 1.74 ERA(Hernandez -- Manaea 1.74 ERA in 3 starts, but not winning as no run support...Hernandez been on the decline for quite a while, really up and down now, hard to predict when he'll have a decent outing. But he almost always does vs Oakland...Considering how bad Oakland is now, and how good those Mariners bats are, and at home, ya just gotta take Seattle at this cheap price for the sweep....but seems way scary cheap...

San Francisco/San Diego-4:10 pm Beede (Lucchesi -- Beede. A minor league starter who shouldn't be here yet (4.79 ERA in Triple-A last season), and won't for long... Lucchesi was very good in minors but never pitched above AA until his last 2 starts before majors, he does keep walks and HR down, more strikes, and a lefty these Giant bats haven't seen, in this pitcher's park, I'm gonna bite....

Texas/Houston 8:08 pm Colon (Verlander -- ESPN ... "Biggest line of the MLB season so far. Since 2005, teams closing -300 or higher have gone 114-42 for -7 units."...wait until they trot out Tim Lincecum, he's almost ready to go Ranger say!...via Buster Olney‏ via MosesMassena (thanks to Old School!): "On Sunday Night Baseball, Justin Verlander faces Bartolo Colon, who throws the highest pct. of fastballs than any pitcher. The Astros hammer fastballs.Highest avg. vs. fastballs since start of 2017"

LA Kings in a must win (down 0-2 in best of 7 playoff), almost won last game in a very tough road assignment, now at home, and have their best player back... Las Vegas Golden Knights not the same team when playing on the road.

WA Capitals also need to bounce back and win, they usually do at home this early part of the playoffs (don't count on it later tho!)

now I gotta go eat my Sundae!
