i'm gonna try posting my plays on the day i make my bets. let's see if that helps me post a little more consistently.
didn't love anything this week. lord knows i don't have the discipline to not bet.
dallas (-6.5) 1 unit to win 1.2. took the alternate line on this one to swing the juice in my favor. i've been waiting to wager against this garbage carolina team, but they opened with the zach wilson making his nfl debut, jameis winston, and.... davis mills? i'm no big fan of this dallas team, and they're probably overvalued after the MNF win. but i can't wait any longer to bet against carolina. shit, they don't play a decent team until mid-november. sooo.... go cowboys!
indy (ML)1 unit to win 1.1. i'm betting against a team i think is on a downswing. even with losing tua, there was absolutely no excuse for them to get completely pantsed by the bills. and, yes, "pantsed" is a real word as far as i'm concerned. Jack, you need to update your website's spellcheck. :lol: anyway, i don't know how many people caught this, but the game against the raiders completely turned when some dipshit on the punt return team committed one of the dumber personal fouls i've seen. it only cost them about 6 inches in field position, but it clearly fired up the raiders, who got a safety the very next play en route to scoring 19 unanswered points. so i was going to bet against the dolphins pretty much no matter who they played this week.
NYJ TT under (18.5) 1 unit. maybe this one is a little too easy, since the jets haven't exceeded 14 points yet this year. that was against 3 decent defenses and the titans' defense hasn't been anything great. but i'm going to bet against the jets scoring points until they prove me wrong.
detroit (ML) 1 unit to win 1.3. my god, it's come to this. i'm betting actual money on the lions winning a road game. one week after getting their hearts ripped out by a 66-yard fg. i'm hoping fields starts, but either way the bears offense is.... not good. i have to bet against them as a fav just on principle.
denver (ML) 1.1 units to win 1. well, i said i was high on denver (see what i did there?) this season. they are well on their way to going over the 8.5 wins that i need. this game scares me. the broncos have faced 3 pretty bad offenses. i'm hoping they can figure out that you just need to cover mark andrews. so this kinda surprised me. the ravens were winning most of the game against the lions. but out of 53 offensive plays, they threw the ball 31 times. plus lamar jackson had 7 carries. i'm sure some of those were called pass plays where he scrambled. how the fuck is that team throwing over 60% of their plays in a game they are winning? i'm hoping their play calling is equally dumb this sunday. do the broncos a favor. please keep throwing the ball. oh, and baltimore is winless this season against teams that currently have a winning record.
Monday Bonus Play
LV (+3.5) 1 unit. i play very few prime time games. but the chargers are overrated after beating the chiefs. as long as something called storm norton is the chargers' right tackle, they are vulnerable. my god, that guy is terrible.
*side note* i'm 14 days away from las vegas. haven't been there in... 6 years, i think. far too long. getting pretty excited.
