My first big game of the season, and it is mostly statistical.

I got blindsided yesterday by a shitload of runs, in a game I thought would be a low roller. Today, all signs point to big numbers again.

Rusch goes for Milwaukee, and has seen his starts go "over" all five starts at home this season. Lowe pitches for the Sox, and has a 7-0 "over" record on the road in his starts.

Since May 10th, Boston overs are 12-1 on the road, with a 5-8 record. (The one bad thing is that Boston tends to score less runs against the lefties.)

The Brewer 'over' is 8-1 over the last month at home, when the total is 8', 9, or 9'.

Couple this with the hit parade of yesterday, and this one has the markings of a nice over.

4 unit play: Bos/Mil over 9' -115

YTD:

18-16 +6.80

Hi yyz

I have been playing the Boston overs regularly. But this one may not be as easy as it looks. Lowe has actually improved in his last 2 starts. Rusch shud get hit in theory by Boston. But they were quite yesterday till the last inning. Not been hitting very well. Couple of players dont have good numbers against Rusch.

Biggest factor is the damn Ump Gorman who is 9 - 3 to the Under with a streak of 4 Unders coming into this game.

In national league games out of 7 games this joker has 6 Unders .. with avg runs scored being around 6.4

In left handed vs right handed matchup he is 4 - 2 Under with avg runs being slightly higher @ 7.71.

Milwaukee as a team strikes out a LOT. Just thinking that Lowe may get a lot of strikeouts. [Only good thing is they have been hitting the ball well last few games and can get to the boston bull pen].

Still thinking about this one but wanted to get my thoughts out.

Can boston be counted on for 6-7 runs. hmm ..

Good luck

Lowe is pitching on three days rest for first time in his life ..

Mebbe he wont go far into the innings and bull pen will step in.

Good input......thanks!

I still see this as a very close game, with some output by both teams. Mil has hit 9,13,12,12 in their last 4 games. Boston had 14 hits yesterday.

I see each team easily getting 4 runs. Thus, the only thing that would hold me down would be a 5-4 finish.

Lowe has looked real nice as of late, but maybe pitching after only three days rest will be a little awkward for him. I think the Brewers can get to him in the first few innings. I think Milwaukee is hitting the ball better than Pittsburgh right now.

Agree .. that is the only redeeming factor that Milwaukee bats have been hot also and Sexon is not the only guy hitting.

I think Boston may cross the total alone .. . Both bull pens may give up runs also ..

Hopefully the Ump wont fock us up. Agree with the Over and will put down money on it myself.

Was looking @ the Toronto over .. but 11.5 runs .. . .. .

Cheers and May the Over Gods be with Us

Spock.......you were more right on your assesment than I was. I really expected the Brewers to get a little more scoring today. Thank god that the Sox got it done!:D
