run defense for new mex st might be the best part ofthier team-pass defesne bad--everything i have read lately says texas will work on running game tonite.
Wox- They weren't too good last year at stopping the run. They do return most of the D-line and LB's, which I guess is good and bad since most of the same players were getting run on last season. Their D-line isn't very big...Texas O-line should have their way with them. No opinion on the prop though...if it's a blowout early, Benson might not see that much action in the second half which could hurt. GL today.
any help where i can find that prop? my advice is to get on this one...benson is determined and they are going to run, run, run the ball tonight. only concern is if they go up early and start giving selvin some touches once this is out of reach. either way, i think the smart play is for ced to go over that amount.

When your back up is Selvin Young followed by a freshman sensation in Albert Hardy.....no need to worry about an early blow out leading to sitting Benson. Benson HAS made several comments about his dissatisfaction with getting on a roll and then the coaching staff sitting him, therefore he will get his carries tonight. Selvin Young will get his too, and damn this kid is good. Texas has never been much for showing a lot in their non-conference games and I don't see that changing before playing K. State and OU back to back. BUT don't look to much into an early blow out getting you on a back door cover late as this Texas team is as deep as any I have ever seen! And during the pre-season open practices reports have been very high on the players competing with each other for playing time. I feel that players who get an opportunity to play will take advantage of that in front of what expects to big crowd for Sunday night!!!!
