Record 20-18 lots of plays yesterday finished up at 11-9
Syracuse game under 144----syracuse--this is not the same team since Edlin left the team, and while syracuse has been posting wins recently, it has not been pretty. WHY? because their offense is very average at best, and a big part of their game is relying on their athletcism(Warrick especially and pace somewhat) to play one on one and beat their man. It has worked the past week and a half, however that horrendus one on one offense is going up against a more athletic team. What does that mean?--Pace 6-8 hook shot in the paint gets nothing,Warrick--well he is a player and uconn won't completely hold him down, they will force him to take a lot of bad shots, resulting in a lot of misses. Mac their only shooter--i;m sure he will be accounted for. ALso I think Boheim knows in order to have a chance to win this game they must slow it down, the game has to be in the 60's. With the cuse's zone accompanied by the inablility to score, 2 teams that don't shoot great from the line, this game should stay under the total of 144.
Don't have it in front of me, but syracuse total in pts the past 6 games have been low. A contrast to their totals in the beggining of the year. a different team.
Mizzou game over 145--not much to say here, but Mizzou went through some changes this year. Early in the year they ran and shot a lot of 3's, then they started to step up their d and shot barely any 3's, now their back to running at times, but defenitely try and get the ball inside, but will shoot the 3 more now especiall when they are leading, which seems to be everyone's idea. Kansas they run and they keep running--they shoot the 3 a lot--this game should start out high scoring first half, this total ends up at 155-160--not to mention a possible ot game.
