Yes, I will go with the angels if the starting pitcher is not Kevin Appier. Kevien Appier is not a stranger for the giants, Bonds and Rich Aurilia hit particularly well again Appier, who has NEVER won a postseason start. I like Russ Ortiz better than Appier in this situation. Expect the giants get some from Appier early and the monkey rally tonight but short for a win.

Angels had Schmidt against the ropes a few times last nite.
He is a strike-out pitcher and worked his way out of a few jams.
I expected a low scoring game since teh Angels bats were
OFF for FIVE days.

I look for that to turn tonite.
Don't like Ortiz on the road much.
This team can hit and is not the Braves.

Like both teams to score a lot.
Appier has always been win one - lose one.
Pitch one good - pitch one bad.
