YTD 18-18 [-1.78]
Sat 2-0 (+2.00)
Well, Congrats to Boiler on his 10,000 star lock of the century and Fluidoz on his case of beer, as the beer total yesterday easily eclipsed the 16 mark... :mj07: And thankfully, no headache today - last Sunday's illness could be blamed on the gin and tonic that I thought seemed like a good idea at the time..... :nono:
Anyway, I've got a few more plays for today:
TWINS/TIGERS under 9 (+104) This is just the same as yesterday's play, and again, not sure if they'll get this in due to the weather? The damn snow has started to accumulate here. It looks like February, not April here....... :cursin:
TORONTO BLUE JAYS (-145) The Jays need this one real bad, and I couldn't think of a better guy going to the mound to try to stop the bleeding than Roy Halladay. All three of his wins this year have come following a loss, and right now the Jays are on a 4 game skid. Doc is 10-2 in his career versus the Orioles, and I like the fact that he has been able to keep his pitch counts to a minimum in his starts this year, and go deep into the game, thus avoiding the bullpen. If he can do this today, I really like Toronto's chances, as they have fought with Baltimore in the first two games of this series, only to have the bullpen cough it up and the defense to make some real bad mistakes.
Also, Ponson has not had much luck against some of these Jay hitters, particularly Catalanotto, Hillenbrand and Hudson.
SEATTLE MARINERS (-139) I like the way Moyer has pitched to start this campaign, and this is a bit of a coattail on Ndnfan, as he has laid out some pretty impressive stuff favouring Seattle in this position.
Good Luck today Guys and Have a Great Sunday,
Sharky
