I've got a few for today, but the recent struggles continue. I was on the golf course yesterday and missed getting the Dodgers....It had to happen sometime.

I can't find the post (I didn't look all that hard), but someone pointed out the high pitch counts Schmidt and Johnson had in their last starts. Today, I am going against both....

MONTREAL EXPOS (+135) I still contend that the Expos aren't THAT bad, and the Giants really aren't very good at all. I am going against Schmidt who threw over 140 pitches last time out, and the Giants are listing Bonds, Durham and Hammonds as all questionable. Also, check out the career stats of Zach Day against San Francisco: 2-0 and only given up one earned run in 15 IP.

FLORIDA MARLINS (+133) I'll give Dontrelle a shot at this price against the Big Unit, who may suffer a let down after his perfect outing in Atlanta.

CARDINALS / CUBS under 10.5 (-125) This is a lot of chalk to lay on a total, but with Morris and Clement on the mound, I thought this line would be lower. I am going to give it a go.....

It is STILL raining here.....

GL Sharky. Also on Montreal, SF still overated and Day is a decent pitcher. Also on Toronto today. Need Batista to go deep into this game. If I even see Adams or lightenburgh warming I will put a gun in my mouth. Adams must have pictures of Tosca and his dog.

Thanks Guys......I'm sorry that game in Puerto Rico got rained out, because I really liked it. The Cards have already put one up in Chicago, but Morris has pitched the Cubs well, so hopefully we can keep the total under and make today a wash. :shrug:

Blackman...Don't worry about it. I had my mind made up on the Marlins, but I did like seeing you make it your only play for the day. Florida is a tough team to figure out IMO.....

Tell me this isn't going to be a shoot-out at Wrigley.........
