FWIW, be VERY careful backing the Yanks. BoSox is 8-0 with Carlson behind HP, and they're hitting .415 L10 vs lefties. Pettite is set-up to get pounded.

dd, good luck today! Do you have any numbers with Pedro & Carlson? I'm trying to find if Ramirez is in the lineup, he hits Pettitte at a 420 clip.

Shamrock, looking at Covers, it looks like they've hooked up only once, 5/17/2000 at Toronto. Pedro won 8-0 as a -240 fav, and the total was 7.5. Pettite has worked with Carlson thrice, all on the road, 6-3 loss to Detroit in 2000, 16-3 loss to Tor in 2000, and 4-2 win to the Mets last yr.

I think it's also worth mentioning that NYY is 2-7 in L9 with Carlson behind HP, 6 of the 7 losses came on the road.

My first instinct was to take the Yanks with the big return without looking at the numbers, but after looking everything over, I think the price is well justified at -170-ish. Gotta run, hope this helps, good luck!:D
