Dodgers continue their march to the finish line. Surprised how impressive Jeff Kent has been. Hated him with the Giants because I have to, and never saw him much with the Astros. His fielding is solid even without the range, if he can get to it, its an out. An impressive first few weeks for him and the boys in blue.

Marlins -117. Everything I could possibly say about this game is in NDN's thread so I won't bore you with more of the same. I will add that getting Angel Hernandez behind the plate is also and added bonus. With the exception of 2002, Hernandez has been murderous for home underdogs. Road faves have made a fortune under his watch. Besides the Fish prowess of lefties and good numbers vs. Glavine, Burnett with 70ks in 72.1 innings vs. the Mets. Fish salvage the final game of the series.
NYY -126. As much as I hate the Yankees, this is a good spot for them. Brown has just absolutely owned the batters of Baltimore. Lopez 4 for 27, Tejada 1 for 11, Mora 2 for 9 with 5 k's. Sosa the only one with success against him, and that was the Sosa of old. Cabrera has pitched against the yanks a couple of times and is 0-1. He's given up 15 hits in 14 innings. Although this is gonna be a really popular play, I like it and just think it's too much for the Baltimore team to sweep the yanks.
KC +112. In the highly anticipated battle for last place in the AL Central the two 4-7 teams square off. Maroth has been touched up by KC, but has somehow managed to not get completely lit up yet. Although 6-7 with a 4.28 ERA, he's allowed 101 hits in just 88 innings against the Royals. Hernandez on the other hand has been dominant against Detroit going 3-0 with a 2.53 ERA giving up 6 runs in 21 innings. Not one Tiger player tomorrow has ever hit a home run off of him either.
