Cooz, sorry, bud. I passed out on the couch watching the Oak game. I, too, liked SD, but the ump angle seems to be pointing toward SF win, so I passed on that game.

Liking LA and Sea, probably put them together in a small 2-teamer for chits and giggles:D

Good luck tonite:D

no prob DUBS.....

MECHE is having a great year...but is capable of a bad outing at texas...they havent exactly blown out texas in this series..and Valdes has good numbers vs texas ..but is god awful at arlington...

4.) dodgers minus 150
5.) seatt/tex over 10.5....

Cooz, did you take a look at the LA lineup??

ARIZONA LOS ANGELES
AVG HR RBI AVG HR RBI
Matt Kata 2B .366 4 9 Wilkin Ruan CF .154 0 1
Steve Finley CF .304 13 39 Alex Cora 2B .233 0 17
Alex Cintron SS .298 7 24 Shawn Green RF .248 9 41
Luis Gonzalez LF .319 17 61 Paul Lo Duca LF .303 5 30
Shea Hillenbrand 3B .259 2 7 Daryle Ward 1B .196 0 6
Dave Dellucci RF .265 2 19 Ron Coomer 3B .221 1 7
Chad Moeller C .313 6 21 David Ross C .317 4 9
Lyle Overbay 1B .286 4 22 Cesar Izturis SS .250 0 18
Andrew Good RHP .143 0 1 Hideo Nomo RHP .111 0 0
(3-2, 4.94) (9-7, 2.71)

Why Daryle Ward is still in the majors is beyond me, and I don't know why Murray is so in love with the guy to even start him. Nomo really has to be on top of his game tonite for LA to win.

Nick D has some good points about Meche, so I'm laying off of Sea even though he should get some help from the HP ump. I'll jump on the Over with you, though, if the lineup looks good.

Good luck, bud.

thanks for the heads up DUBS...

think zona is a better play...or the under...or laying off...have time to buy back the play...

i was skeptical from the get go...because LA cant score runs...just think GOOD really isnt that good....but if he can pitch 5 innings of maybe 1 run ball they can stay in it..

thoughs DUBS..

I think Under is likely the best play, since this is a 5pm start time. Both teams have stellar bullpens and there's that "shadow" factor between the mound and HP......but I don't know that for a fact if that's the case with Chavez Ravine:shrug: . Meriweather has been in a lot of Under games between LA and Zona, though......but -120-ish??

your right DUBS...7 is a number that can be hit by accident and to lay juice is a no-no there...

im buying back the LA play ...that line-up is down right pathetic...

GOOD scares me a bit though as i see lefties are hitting pretty good off of him...and if LA is gonna get any power its from the left side with lo duca and green...

im actually thinking doing a 180 and take zona...gonazalez has great numbers vs nomo...if he can catch one for a couple of runs ...say a 3 run dinger ..LA is in trouble...

again thanks for the heads up...

I'm just gonna lay off, cooz, just playing Tx Over and gonna root for LA to win.

One interesting story, though, came from yesterday's game. Perez carried a no-no into the 8th with a 2-0 lead. Someone hit a lazy blooper that dropped 10+feet in front of Greeny, the fans booed him like he is wearing a Giants uniform or something for not hustling. It clearly was the right play since he had no shot to catch it and needed to play smart and protect the lead anyways, but the fans booed him even louder when he came to bat bottom of 8th. He just quietly took it like the pro he is.

After the game, the whole team really stood behind him and backed him up, even lashed out at the fans in front of the reporters. This may just be what the Dodgers need to start playing like a team and go on another win streak......I hope. But I'm gonna lay off.

GL!

i saw that play DUBS..clearly the right play....winning the game is more important than a no hitter...in a pennant race..

im laying off LA as well....

LA DODGERS ARE A NO PLAY...i just dont see where the run production can from in that line-up....NOMO has one bad inning they are in trouble

only play tonight..

4.) TEXAS over 10.5....even

I thought we were looking good early in the game, too. Like you said, chit happens:shrug:

The thing about the Bos/NYY game, though. Montague should be behind home plate, and this guy has been just BRUTAL to the home doggies year after year. Gonna have to look at it a little closer tomorrow morning.

Good luck tomorrow;)

nice call on Florida bud ..

hard luck on Seattle under .. i almost played it .. but backed off seeing both u and dubber on the over .. all numbers pointed to an under (at least from what i saw).

did not follow the game but no runs in last few innings with the bull pen of these 2 clubs .. amazing ..

Good luck
