Bears I think can keep this close and give the Cats problems...but if Bears play their one/one style the Cats will eat them alive....going with the Bears to make this a close game..they have the talent..but do that have basketball IQ to beat them...

Cats play swarming defense..have a stud in Mathews.They can't shoot the 3...think they will wear them down...
Maryland -5 over Texas AM ****
Terps have Thomas the POY of the ACC...Mincy is a skinny,slender gd who can attack the basket and shoot from the outside...these ladies hit the bds from all over....bad matchup for the defending champs..AM can't rebound,poor FT% and avg defense...
Notre Dame -19 over Bonnies *****
Everyone has forgotton about the Irish..they did lose to AM last yr in the finals..did beat UConn twice...and have one of the best players in the country in Diggins....they play the 4 gd offense so they are very quick esp. on defense...this allows them to trap and recover...the most active defensive team I think I ever saw...Bonnies got lucky vs Marist the other night and won by 3...if anyone saw that game{ I doubted very many} the other nite, I just gave Brian G the Foxes coach big time props...and with 15 seconds left his gd beats the Bonnie defender and is driving for an uncontested layup when the whistle blows...no foul,no walk,no lane violation..what the hell is that...He calls timeout...he runs a screen play to the corner after the TO....Fox player cuts the wrong way and the pass goes out of bounds..Bonnies win......anyway.. Bonnies have Jenkins a great shooter.. ND will be in her face all game...think the only way ND doesn't blow them away is a call from Rome..its lent season..you have the Holy Cross order vs the Franciscans...can't fool around with the Pope..
UConn -17.5 over Penn St *
Huskies are the best defensive team in girls..2nd to none..they don't have the 3 super stars scoring anymore..they do have Lewis...its tourney time..they got beat by ND twice but in the BE tourney they knock them off... they beat Prar AM 83-47 and K-state 72-26...now K-state isn't a good off team but 26 pts..Penn St can score...they play 3 gds...and have a stud in Lucas...should jump on the +17.5 because Gino has a team of puppies..but its dancing time..and I hate going against Gino during the dance...
