BOILERMAKERS -12.........$50
Purdue is returning 7 offensive starters including Kyle Orton, a starter the last 1 1/2 years. Orton is a solid starter, throwing 27 TDS and only throwing 16 INTS, the last 2 years. to me -12 seems preety low. Joe Tiller has always had some good teams and going 9-4 last year is a bit miss leading. he lost to BG in the opener,probably took them to lightley, lost to Big10 champ Michigan, lost to Ohio St in OT and lost to Georgia in OT. this squad should be good again this year. I can understand they lost some starters on defense that ranked 13 in the nation overall, but i think they should be fine. with Pasqurelli the Orange coach calling the shots at Offensive coordinator, i dont see much go ing. he still doesn't know who to use as a starting QB. Plus im one of those guys who thinks, well why isn't the line 14 or 16, 12 seems like a very odd #, so i'll take a bite at it.
