Donovan McNabb has completed better than 60 percent of his passes, thrown for 964 yards and 11 touchdowns. Maybe all quarterbacks should play with a sports hernia, sore legs and bruised ribs. Imagine what McNabb could do if fully healthy? The Eagles have defeated Dallas nine of the past 10 times, going 7-2-1 ATS. The Cowboys haven?t been able to stop any team?s lead receiver, giving up big yardage to Keenan McCardell, Santana Moss, Brandon Lloyd and Randy Moss this season. They?re going to have plenty of trouble with Terrell Owens. The Cowboys are 2-2, but very well could be 0-4. San Diego should have beat them opening week, and the 49ers blew a 31-19 fourth quarter lead. Keyshawn Johnson and Terry Glenn are enjoying excellent seasons so far for Dallas. Both are well past their primes, though. The feeling here is the Eagles will be able to successfully blitz immobile quarterback Drew Bledsoe. The Cowboys have been on the west coast the past two weeks. So it could take them a little longer to get back situated at home. No team is better on the road than Philadelphia. The Eagles are 19-7 SU the past three plus years away from home. They are 36-17-3 (68 percent) ATS on the road. They also have covered 14 of their last 18 on artificial turf when playing on the road. The Eagles buried the Cowboys, 49-21, last season in Dallas. The Cowboys? new 3-4 defense remains a work in progress. McNabb can attack Dallas? weak corner flanks, while running Brian Westbrook on draw plays. Even with his assorted injuries, McNabb remains elusive and strong. Not so with Bledsoe. No quarterback is more vulnerable to blitzes than Bledsoe, and the Eagles are one of the top blitzing teams in the league.

I don't know Ray I don't like the situation at all, NOT to be disagreeable with you (by any means as I remember one Baseball total you gave out with local info on a strong wind and a game that was over the total in like the second inning).

Philly's second game on the road in Dallas vs an old Divisional Foe.

Parcells knows how important this game is to his season.

I never like to lay points on the Road anyway.

I think TO was the one who did a salute on the middle of the field as a 49er, correct ?

Lots of behind the scene things happening here with this match-up, Gibbs vs Parcells, etc.

Skill level I agree The Eagles are better, but there is a ghost hiding here somewhere, as I think the line should have been -5.5 or -6.

Call me crazy, I often am !

I agree Ray this line is going to rise during the week and if you can get at 3.5 your doing good. The Birds have to much for Dallas to deal with. Like KC they may be good for a quarter or two but the Eagles are beating teams up. The birds and I would have to say the Colts are the best teams in football. The Cowboys are not on the same radar screen. Expect a long day for Bledsoe. I know I sound like a homer but I don't think this team is playing its best ball yet, thats scary. There just warming up. If they stay healthy, its Super Bowl or Bust.

Ok, you're crazy -- Gibbs coaches the Skins.

Tough spot for my Eagles. Second game on the road against a desperate Dallas team looking for revenge. Last year the Eagles beat Dallas on two occasions. I think T.O. will be pissed because he was injured in the later game which made him miss the playoffs. I'll lay the 3.

If I had to bet it I would take the Eagles in this matchup, but honestly I don't think I'm going to bet it. Too many "if" factors. The game could easily push, it's in Dallas, and Parcells must be pissed as hell at his team right now. However, if I had to bet it I'd take the Eagles.

jets ml

Vinny, Vinny, Vinny! Testaverde gets the start
and the Jets get the win. If ever there was a
game for the Bucs to let down, this would be
it. You know they're not going to go undefeated,
and this game may be the least important game
on their schedule. They play against a non-con-
ference team. If they lose, Jon Gruden may just
look back and say, "oh well, you can't win 'em all."
His quarterback Brian Griese is one hard hit away
from giving way to Luke McCown or Chris Simms.
Not to take anything away from either of those guys,
but it would completely change the complexion of
their offense. We're not suggesting that Testaverde
can move the ball up and down at will, but Herm
Edwards gameplan this week is to give Vinny simple
short passes early, and go deep late to put the game
away. The Bucs 4-0 start hasn't instilled fear in the rest
of the league. The home dog with the new QB is
usually a strong angle. It holds up in this game.

Even though the Lions are at home, can?t see them beating the Ravens as long as Joey Harrington remains under center. This is Baltimore?s only carpet game of the season, and just its fifth in three years. But that shouldn?t make any difference for Jamal Lewis, who is rounding into shape. The Lions could get back fullback Cory Schlesinger (check status). He?s an excellent lead blocker for Kevin Jones. But until Harrington can do something with his talented young receivers, Jones is going to find defenses stacked against him. That will be the case here as the Ravens now have had five weeks to work out the kinks in their new 4-3 defense. It?s starting to show signs of becoming a top unit. They dominated the Jets last week, stopping them both through the air and on the ground. Harrington isn?t much better than Jets? third-stringer Brooks Bollinger. Harrington hasn?t done anything the past two games when pitted against tough defenses, Chicago and Tampa Bay. Harrington barely completed 50 percent of his passes, many of which are short little dump-offs, and has thrown five interceptions and one touchdown in those two games. The Lions scored a combined 19 points against the Bears and Bucs. The Ravens? defense is better than those two team?s defenses. Not good news for Detroit.

Good luck on those plays, I really don't like any of those games except for the Eagles even though is now stuck on -3. I have no fear of Dallas, unless McNabb can't play. Det/Rav is a garbage game and same with the Jets and Bucs Flip a coin. As far as Buffalo and Miami, I lean toward Miami, but not enough to lay a few pennies on. I am laying off those games. Some of the plays I am looking at are:

Eagles -3 There just to good
Pats +2.5 Brady is 8-0 coming off lost
Dev -6.5 Wash get exposed
Hou -3 Rebound Game

Didn't pull trigger yet but those games look like strong plays.

Possible upset game I am eyeing is
Az +2.5 I post them Sunday Morning

Good luck

That last cowboys game made me sick. I didnt have much on it, but Parcells left his nuts at home that day.
