Long day yesterday...
overall 9-9-1....but lost big with Denver and New Mex St...two things that worried me about Denver happened...weak rebounders and they got killed on the bds by North Texas 36-19 and NT's freshman Mitchel..he is a monster...had 30 pts..17 rebounds just 2 short of the Denver team...shot 7-8FT and 11-19 FG%..he is a man playing with boys...the one nite I need him to play average....
Was looking forward to seeing the Fairfield-Marist line for today when we heard here last nite a fire killed 3 Marist students...they postponed all their games today...

Loy Md -12 over St Peter *****
Loved this line when it came out..Thinking it would be -14 to -16....
Peter can't score..they rank in the 300's in offense,FG%3 pt %,etc...even FT% is 62%....Prescottt and Conley are solid....but Greyhounds are good...Ethery and Walker are tough rebounders..Drummond and Cormeir are really playing good at the gds...both very quick..Olson the other nite looked awesome....they can rebound and score...two things Peter can't do...

Manhattan -10 over Niagara **
MC has a good solid front line.Brown came off the bench the other nite @marist and was the player of the game.Colonette their best inside player got 2 quick fouls and sat the whole 1st half..maybe 1 minute into the 2nd half he picked his 3rd...was not a factor in the game at all...hard to judge how good the jaspers are..marist was terrible...MC post defense didn't let Marists Kemp touch the ball inside the paint..so Foxes just fired away 3's the whole game and missed many...MC plays full court man/man defense...they just wear you down..Foxes gds had nothing left...but Purple has 5 gds..so that won't work today.NU has a few guys like Mason<Green,Jordan that can dribble and score..but they can't shoot 3's....lean towards the Jaspers...their one game out of 1st with Iona..playing at home..sitting behind Masillo their coach friday nite was a trip..he is nuts...clone of Pitino....at time outs the ballboy gives him a towel to wipe...screams,yells,jumps...think inside game of MC dominates...and MC plays tough defense...that ball should go down into the paint on every play...

Rider -10 over Canisius *
Two teams that really are bad...Griffs are 1-7 with only win vs team I almost hit in my car the other day.Rider can score and Griifs cannot gd their shadows..I think they rank almost last in the country[345th}..long ride from buffalo...longer ride back..

NC State +4.5 over Miami **
USF -1 over DePaul **
Indiana -14.5 over Penn St **

sorry about the Denver-NMSt game..need to rebound today....Go Giants..their winning outright

but they could make FTs down the stretch when we're committing fouls while up 16. :facepalm:

was that game televised ? didn't see any of the game,thank god...terrible way to lose...but in hoops that happens...you sometimes are on the other end of those type of endings...but it always seems like were on the wrong end.....last yr I was in Vegas at the Hilton on the opening weekend of March madness...Notre dame was -12 or -13 over ...can't even remember..maybe Ohio or someone in the MAC..I took the +13...there 400-500 people packed at the Sports betting area with the big screen TV showing the game...ND is up by 14 with the ball with 5 seconds in the game...think they throw it away....Ohio or who ever takes it out of bounds....dribbles the entire length of the court for an uncontested layup..ND coach is telling his players back off...layup,basket good as the buzzer goes off...the entire floor at the Hilton shook..I felt it..place was going nuts...screaming,yelling,etc...of the 500 people there maybe 10 of us had the underdog...Hilton had 5 guys at the booth for payoffs...I didn't see any lines...so with a smile I cashed in my big ticket..probably for about $25....gods of vegas can get you there or take it away...sorry about the loss..will look at the boxscore and see where I was wrong..
