Hudson Valley area.....NY
Hawaii +1 over North Texas **
Its NT 3rd game in a row in 3 nites[I think}...they have rs frosh Gibson on fire scoring +30 pts...but they are winning w/o their best player Smart who could come back today..NT just got by Portland abd won 78-73....Bows beat Portland 2 nites ago 82-64...Bows have a solid backcourt..and the new transfer Stanbbery is the real deal...front court is a work in progress but NT's doesn't have an intimidating front court either...if Smart plays might pass but right now going with the Bows..

Alabama -13.5 over Appa St ***
Bama is bigger, quicker, more athletic,etc,etc...they should own the paint, play pressure defense and have enough inside and outside scoring to win by +20...

Marshall -7.5 over Hofstra *

Hate going against the Herd with their gds of Elmore and Burks..Hof returns Foreman the best player in the Col..who was 5th in the nation in scoring...both teams strengths are their back court.. I love Mihalich as a coach but think this games is a 3 or 4 pts game with Herd leading and then let Elmore have the ball...small play..I thought this game would be Hof +8..so that half pt caused me to switch...my record on last minutes switching because of a half pt is 5-25...small play and should pass

Rutgers -13.5 over Drexal *
Another play I should pass up...Rutgers last year won 15 games yet went 3-15 in the Big 10...there record vs non conference foes was unreal..they played so many weak teams and ended up 15-19...they lost Sanders there best scorer and Freeman...but Pickiell is a good coach..he needs time..he was at Stony Brook and these kids played tough defense...Rutgers last year did improve on defense even in the B-10 stats..but they couldn't score enough vs the big boys..they were the worst 3 pt shooting team, last in assists,etc,etc...they have Kiss the 6'5 kid from Quinny who transferred and he can do it all..Baker is solid at gd but they have a few big guys in Carter at 6'9 who will post up..also they have Harper and outstanding frosh...they are playing at the RAC so everyone gets a chance to see the Red Nites...Drex was 9-27 last yr and there best player transferred..they can't play any defense...they might have improved some but think the Scarlet Nites need to be explosive in there non conf schedule and score as many points as they can because they have the Johnnies,Miami, and Seton Hall in non conf and then open up with Maryland and Ohio St in the B-10...small play because Drex does have a decent pt gd...

yest went 2-1 +3*
overall 16-8 +11*'s
Red Foxes had a nice win over Columbia...Good luck today

Always great to see you back Box! Been to the first two ASU games this year and could be an interesting group once they figure out a floor leader. Look forward to the next few months.
