Hoyas beat Creighton and then lose their next 3..but those losses were to Butler,XU and Marq...they beat the Johnnies at home pretty bad..Johnnies are up and down they beat DePaul and get blown out of the gym vs Nova..If Ewing could coach they should win this game because the Johnnies offense is still suspect..but there defense is solid ..Hoyas have the air craft carrier in Omer Y..think he makes the difference,

Just maybe this team has awoken.. they have now won 3 in a row but still are 4-7 on the road,,they are 6-4 in the conf and are creeping back to the top...meanwhile Mon has won 4 of 5 and are 7-0 at home..but they avg 69 pts a game and give up 70 thats all Rider needs to score..if Rider plays some defense they should win on the rd..problem is Rider avg 72 pts a game and gives up 70..again talent wise Rider has 4 starters better then anyone on the Hawks...think Rider realizes they have the most talent with 4 starters who have over a 1,000 pts the best pt gd and center in the conf and Vaughn a 6'5 bruiser inside and out.. my pre-season POY of the MAAC... he only avg 15 pts a game and we still have a few more conf games left..Scott the 6'8 fd wing can hit the 3.. but in last game that Rider won he was held scoreless..
Manhatten Iona game started..would of played Manhattan but they are losing..glad I saved myself
Quinn -3 over Niagara ***Quinn already beat them once . Quinn is 6-3 and tied at the top of the conf..Kelly does everything and Marfo still avg a double d with 10 pts and 13 bds a game..still ranks tops in the nation in rebounding,Purple have Hammonds a stud but have lost 3 in a row.. Purple avg 65 pts a game and give up 74..Kelley will score,pass,rebound,drive the bus back down to Connecticut and pay the toll on the NY State Thruway..

Foxes have won 3 of 4..and again don't have one starter they avg in double figures ..after there slow start I was questioning there hiring of Dunne the St Peter coach who could go to any mall in NJ and teach defense to the 1st 5 guys he see's..I was so happy when the Foxes hired him..but then questioned myself ..he has not recruited his own kids yet but when he does the Foxes will have to be recognized...great defense coach and beat teams when he was at St Peter that he couldn't have one starter start for the opposing team..Griifs won 6 in a row and now have lost 3 in a row,,they are 3-9 in last 12 games ..think Foxes keep this close..

Saints are 1-9 on the rd and 9-0 at home..despite Peter having the worst offense in college hoops ranking them in the 300's in 4 or 5 Ken pom categories they still have the Dunne defense and think they will slow down the saints.. saints have Pickett and already won at home to Peter 61-58..close game and think Peter sneaks in a cover
Yesterday went to the Tx St _La Laf game...I have Tx st -9.5 and with under 2 minutes Tx St up 12 with the ball and gets a fast break dunk uncontested.. they will now be up 14 but Sule decided to do a Toma hawk double pump jam ..he is the only player on that side of the court.. his misses the dunk.. the ball goes up about 25 feet and there is a scramble for it.. Tx St fouls in the scramble.. Laf hits the 1-1 .10 pt game Tx st throws it away and they leave hardy the only guy that I believe can shoot on Laf and he nails a uncontested 3..its now a 7 pt game and Laf presses and Tx St turns it over Laf scored and it ended in a 4 or 5 pt game...and that is why I will never retire in the Caymons...
