Duke 8.5 over Johnnies ****** strong play
Last 2 times they played the lines were Duke -16.5,-14 and the Johnnies covered losing by 9 and 6.One of those years I lost my "shirt" playing on Duke big time...
With the line under double digits I love the Dukies today...Johnnies beat ND by 18 but in last 6 games lost to Cuse by 17,ND by 15,Louie by 25,Cinncy by 2 and George by 25...there offense is ranked in the 150's and defense the same...they rely on their defense for offense pressuring full court...well that won't work against teams with good gds..see above teams that they lost too...Duke has Smith who is one of the best..but the front line is where the Johnnies get beat..Singler,Plumee,etc...big crowd at MSG but again not a great home court because the fans are so far from the court...Dukies win this by 15-20 pts..they should control the paint and have to much firepower everywhere else...love the Dukies today..

Iona -5 over Loy Md **
Iona has won the last 3 games vs the Greyhounds.Beat them a few weeks ago 86-68 at home..With Barney their top scorer still out think they have trouble over Iona...Glover inside plays even with Walker..Walker was named co-player of the week..but he low balled Rossiterr Friday nite in the Siena game...Ross when to the floor...Patos told Mitch the Siena coach " he didn't condone it"...rumor is Patos might bench Walker today for the dirty play..not sure..anyway think Iona plays tough today..Loy is still licking its wounds from the Siena whupping...

Siena -13.5 over Niagara *
who knows what Purple team shows up..watched them friday nite vs Cansius and it was a close game...looked liked NU could win..then with about 6 minutes left the Griffs go on a 15-20 pt run...NU is 2-10 ats away...but 4-2 ats in last 4..Saints are 1-5 ats in last 5...

Manhattan +2 over Marist *** { sorry I got the line at +2.5 last nite...}
Leaving for that game in an hour...its on MSG TV..will be wearing a red Phillies hat in the stands...should be easy to pick me out with about two hundred fans in the stands...
MC is coming off their greatest game this yr almost upsetting Fairfield friday nite.leading the whole game only to lose it on a last second 3 pt shot...so I'm taking this good karma and think the jaspers can revenge there loss to marist a few weeks ago.MC has lost these pasrt 2 weeks to Fairfield,Peter,Loy,NU and Can by 2,9,12,2, and 21....meanwhile Foxes lost all 5 since beating MC to Peter,Loy,Rider,Iona and Siena by 28,6,14,38 and 6.. Hall,Foxes 2nd leading scorer has failed out and Prescott their leading scorer had a concussion the other day and might not play...I like Alvardo for MC and Beamon is now scoring...MC gets a rare rd win even though they are 1-5 on the rd...

I'm thinking Vegas will hold the line here at 8.5 and the line should be 14-15, as you say.
Dukes ats record against the Big East is 4-12-1, last 17.
So, I'm thinking it'll be the Johnnies today, if not the books are gonna get pounded.

Box, great info.... agree with your manhattan play... think your all wet on DK... your right the line was 16.5 & 14 and your right again, they did not cover... now they drop the line to 8.5 for a reason... the reason is : vegas knows ... you think they make misstakes ??? yes they do .. but not on duke games .... johnnies will cover...

Oliver....I was thinking the same thing but haven't been here a lot lately, just now and then.

Box and One a great capper and I've seen more losses than usual as well but haven't kept up with it. Nothing wrong with asking how someone is doing. Some keep up with it, some don't, but almost no one keeps up with someone else.

I hate going against Box but went with St John's today, both line and ML, and hoping they finish it out for the win...

I think this is just a very tough year or at least a bad jan for alot of cappers on here and other sites....Box and Thunder are the better ones out there and when they are hurting it says something....and just for the record the games I pick when I don't tail someone suck too....both guys have still won me money over the years and it just shows you can't win every year...I'm sure by tourney time both will turn it around with their great logic and insightful knowledge.
