Well, instead of 3-1 with Boston pending, have to settle for 2-2.

One of the worst beats ever for the Under. It was a perfect matchup for both starters(who are ground ball pitchers) with the home plate Ump Barksdale who tends to give the low strike call.

37 of the 42 outs recorded by the starters were via the ground ball or strikeout.

It's games like this that make you not even want to cap again....speaking of which, I'm on break again. UGHH!

tough break ND. I had the under as well.

only ranks 2nd on my all-time worst baseball beat.

the winner was last year when yanks/toronto game was set at 9.5

toronto up 2-0
bottom of the ninth
and don't forget two outs.

of course lofton home-run then clark home run

then the teams score like crazy in extras.

blow it off, you'll get it back. but it always stings a little. and p.s. i've been at this a long time, make good money at it, and for those of you who say it all evens out in the end, it doesn't. theres always more beats than miraculous covers. but that don't mean it still isn't profitable.

BDB...I hear ya. The only worse beat I may have had was a few years ago in Vegas, had what may have been one of my biggest bets ever.../Over on the Cleveland game which was set at 9. Was over in the first inning inning already and ended up getting called for rain in like the 8th inning!

i've had a few of those over/ rain out incomplete game scenarios as well.

oh yeah, and if you are really brave, take a look at fridays kc/az box score. i had az on the runline. they were only up 11-2 in the 6th or something and i somehow found a way to lose that one.

either way, gots to roll with it.

Talk about ground ball pitchers....Shit, isn't Webb's ratio something like 134-30, or something like that and Carrasso was close to 2-1. GL and keep up the good work.
