Florida St -4.5 over Miss St **
Lady Bulldogs lose there last few games before tourney..then just get by Mid-Tenn in the 1st round..then blow away the heavy fav Ohio St by 20.Bulldogs have a good pt and there 6'5 post player Mokango is a def player.Bulldogs let their defense create for their offense.FSU have 2 good players in Gray and Harvin.Then they have 6'5 Monroe who avg 13 pts and 7 bds.Think she will dominate inside and give the Noles a win.

Nebraska -7.5 over Kentucky ****
Neb went undefeated in the B-12..lost in B-12 tourney to AM...It was the wake up call.Neb wins this by 15-20...

Notre Dame -4.5 over OU ***

Tenn -1.5 over Mich St **
So much written on this game...I like Tenn because they have more talent,play tough defense and think they can challenge Mich St on the bds.Tenn has taken care of Purdue..this is just another B-10 team...but Izzo has his kids playing so smart...Tenn and Mich St will be in each others faces on every shot.Prince,Mays,Chism,Hopson etc...vs Summers and Lucious...Vols have a little bit more..but if Mich St wins, me and many of us that liked Tenn will be saying.." freak'in Izzo..we deserve to lose."

I imagine the days of that slow grinding half court offense are over at Iowa.

Fran likes to keep it up tempo and do a lot of pressing. As far as his staff, I have no idea.

Boilermaker..my bad..knew it would be you to correct that..imagine if Hummel didn't get hurt..think they would be in Indy this week.

Airportis...Fran is a good coach,not the greatest bench coach..but he is probably one of the best recruiting coaches in the country.When he was at ND under Digger and Macleod he was the main guy that got the Humphries andTroy Murphys. I got to know him way back when he coached at lehigh..he recruited one of my players when digger was the head coach. Back then they could send as many letters as they wanted..Fran sent over 150 letters to my player...ND lost intrest in my player and he ended up UMass...fran always got great players that turned his teams around..Lehigh always lost..then he got there and they won...he coached one of the UNC's schools and turned them around..he took over a losing Siena team and in 2 yrs he turned them around.I know he played for a Philly school..think St Joes but never coached there...
Thought he was going to take the Seton hall job...Iowa..wow...Give him a yr or two..any Iowa fans out there...you should be happy....I know the Johnnies wanted him big time..but the rumor was the Hall...he is an east coast guy....maybe he'll get Connie Hawkins out there...

So,so much written on this game....the way I capp with my numbers which isn't to good in this tourney..

2-gd-Dunn ..one of the best in the country..maybe the best.
Aircraft carrier..Lomar..maybe a light carrier but is a space eater..
Wing-attacker..Acy...can score,loves to drive..
Power Fd...or whatever.. Udoh ....

Depth,athletic,etc...
Duke..
Smith,Scheyer,Singler..can almost say the same..Zoub..inside,etc..
Duke leads in almost every category. Bears get a little break..playing in Houston...2-3 defense is a change but dukies might get open looks...the biggest thing that scares me is the turnovers...baylor doesn't get very many..they rank at the bottom of the country..but playing a lot of zone is the reason. duke doesn't turn the ball over...Bears do..but Carter and dunn had no TO's in Mary game..this game could go either way...I'll take the +5 and dog.
