its amazing how bad arizona's offense is when randy takes the mound lately. you would think that arizona, for as bad as they are, would try and score some runs for an easy win when he takes the hill. doesn't happen though. since the middle of june, the scores of the games when randy johnson pitches:

and for the giants, brett tomko is pitching well. i repeat brett tomko is pitching well. it feels strange to type those words, but this former gas can is throwing really well lately. and his numbers vs. arizona as excellent as well.
as for cleveland in the sunday nighter -- the indians may not win another game the rest of the season (as theyve been bad lately) but they will win tonight. while lackey has been sharp vs cleveland in his starts vs cleveland, i just do not see this guy holding up tonight. ball is carrying well in cleveland lately and this guy can give up runs in bunches. jake westbrook has been absolute nails at home this season. and when the indians need a win, this is the one guy in their rotation who delivers with consistency. line reflects angles need for a win, but lackey over westbrook? :thinking:
