Cincinnati 1st Half (+6.5) 1 unit
Cincinnati (+10) 1 unit. starting right off with this horrible team. they can't stop the run and, yeah, that's all baltimore does. but as i've said many times before, i love betting qbs making their first start. i believe qbs making their first start have now covered 9 straight games in the nfl. plus, the ravens are seriously overvalued after last week's win. Cincinnati is certainly bad enough to be the "right" side and still give up 21 points in the last 10 minutes of the game. But i'm taking a shot.

oh, almost forgot this nugget from old school's post... baltimore is 3-10 ATS the last 10 years as a double-digit fav and 0-2 this year.

arizona (+4.5) 3 units
arizona (ML) 1 unit to win 1.8. purely betting against this bad tampa team and their horrible qb. i'll take points from the bucs every chance i get.

cleveland (-3) 5 units. the bills are terrible. the fact that they are 6-2 is a perfect indicator of how bad the nfl is in general. and this line is BEGGING for bills action.

the bills are 3-0 on the road. they beat the jets (needing a big late rally), the giants, and the titans on a day the titans' replacement kicker missed 4 field goals. so even though cleveland is an absolute dumpster fire, they are better than the bills. that's not always enough to win a football game, and mayfield could certainly find a way to lose. but the browns are the right play, in a big way.

oh, and the bills may just be looking forward to their trip to miami next week.

and one more nugget from old school's post....

This is the seventh time in the past 25 seasons that a team with a .250 or lower winning percentage is favored over a team with a .750 or better winning percentage in Week 6 or later. The favorite is 6-0 ATS in the previous six games. And it's just the third time in the Super Bowl era it's happened in Week 10 or later (2-0 ATS previously)

indy (-10.5) 3 units. i hate laying this many points, especially in the nfl. and, yes, i know the dolphins have covered 4 straight. but i still love the colts to roll today. mack should have a big day against a porous miami defense, and hoyer (hopefully) will be able to limit his turnovers.

Monday

seattle 1st Half (ML) 2 units to win 4
seattle (+6.5) 3 units
seattle (ML) 1 unit to win 2.2. both teams try to establish the run. neither team is particularly good at stopping the run (both defenses allow 4.7 yards/carry). this has all the makings of a slugfest and it should stay close. so i'll take the points. and, if it is close late, i trust russell wilson more than jimmy garoppolo. oh, and a very banged-up kittle is going to hurt the niners.

Cincy will hopefully start playing better. Down 14-0 quickly.

absolutely brutal

i'm going to keep looking for opportunities to bet against this overrated team. there are just so few competent teams in the league these days.
