learned a couple of things on saturday:
* my dart throws with cbb totals are still finding the target (13-4)
* the only team worse than east tennessee state is their in-state big brother volunteers. what a waste of money.
miami redhawks under 130
miami hasnt played in 11 days, so expecting their defense to be a little sharper than their O. last two miami games have gone into OT to skew their numbers a bit. this ones also a rematch from last years bracket buster that had a weird 2nd half. score at the break was miami 34-15. then swmizzou extended the game with fouls galore and a 91 pt 2nd half (51-41) made for a 75-66 final score. dont have past numbers in front of me, but recall that total being in the low 120s, which is what i thought this number today would be. guess im just gonna trust my capping again because the number looks way too high. numbers say sms is averaging 80ppg this yr, but playing a run-and-gun troy state team and dropping 110 pts on em certainly bumps up the offensive numbers. but these two teams are half-court teams by nature, and should be played in the low 60s.
