last week was surreal, but betting nfl can be a humbling endeavor, so we'll see how these do:

(big :firing: ) new england and seattle under 41.5
i think seattle gets back to basics after the st.louis collapse and i think both running backs are going to have success today. im not buying seattle's run defense as being all that special. 2 of their 4 games were against frisco and tampa - who have the 2nd worst and 3rd worst running games in the nfl. hawks also making their 2rd long road trip of the season already. who they hell gave them this schedule. open the season 2800 miles away in new orleans. stay out east to play tampa. come back home for two games, and then go another 3000 miles to boston. these guys are professionals, but seattle really got jammed with the scheduling this year early on.

dallas (-3) over pittsburgh
first real test for roethlisberger. the miami game was a slop game played in a downpour, and he got cleveland at home. browns defense isnt too stingy anyways. pitt weak in the secondary and cowboys have the talent on the outside to exploit that.

cleveland (-3) over cincinnati

(big :firing: ) cleveland and cincinnati 2h under 20.5

sunday night game
scratch. buy back and lose juice. getting a real bad vibe about this game. something tells me saints pull something out of their ass

good luck guys

god help me, but ill take a shot with the clowns (-3) (+105). browns in another must-win situation. with philly coming to town and then a trip to baltimore, if the clowns dont find a way to beat the bengals, theyre done. suggs had an enormous game vs the bengals last season and the cincy run defense is absolutely atrocious this season, so its likely suggs should get 100+. frankly, the browns are no prize, but the bengals are worse.

good luck.

I seriously like Detroit Lions to mop the floor with Bret and the Pack.

Detroit -2.5 seems fair to me.

GMan, I'me with you on Cleve and Dallas, can't see Parcells losing 2 straight at home back to back. I'me also not buying most people taking SD, 2 straight home W's doesn't have me convinced they can cover on the road against a team thinking they are playoff hopefuls also facing back to back home losses. scott: i think that green bay line is overadjusted. if this game was played a month weeks ago, green bay would be -3 or -4. pack is certainly struggling, but you really have the confidence to lay points with the lions? theyve always been a great dog for me, but not sure if i can lay pts with em. lions dont have the running game to exploit gb either. im not touching the game, so i am hoping you hit it.

toto- good to hear from you. saw you posted to me the other day in the college forum. i dont think chucky posts any more. kind of a shame, he was one of the genuinely good guys on the forums from back in the day.

( big :firing: ) cleveland and cincinnati 2nd half under 20.5

its 21-17 at halftime and there has only been ONE real drive in this game (the browns drive right before halftime). all the other scores have come off mistakes and miscues. a 99yd TD pass. a cleveland fumble on their own 15. a cleveland fumble on their own 10. browns started to pound the ball on the ground late in the 1st half. this game wont have much more scoring in my opinion
