dammit, way too many plays today.

pittsburgh (-2.5) 1 unit. how can i play the steelers? they've lost 43 games in a row (just ask a steelers' fan; they'll tell you that's what it feels like), and here come the 9-4 green bay packers. most people are on the packers (how can you NOT be?), but most places are moving the line up this morning. hmmmm

tennessee (-5) 3 units. again, everybody on the dog... but the line is moving up. huh. the titans are 5-1-1 ATS since young took over. i gotta keep ridin' 'em.

buffalo (+7) 2 units. the only reason i'm keeping this at 2 units is because it seems way too easy. wtf has new england done this year to justify laying any points on the road, much less a touchdown? THEY ARE 0-5 STRAIGHT UP ON THE ROAD!! and, obviously, 0-5 ATS. the bills only lost by 1 at NE earlier this year, so that should give them some much-needed confidence going into this game. since dumping jauron in favor of a ham sandwich, the bills are 3-1 ATS (3-0 in game played in the US).

baltimore (-11) 1 unit. flacco sucks in close games. this one shouldn't be close.

cleveland (+2.5) 1 unit. ugly game. do people in cleveland and kc even want to watch this? anyway, cleveland has actually covered 4 straight games. with temps rising into the 40's, today will feel positively balmy for the browns after last week's game. interesting stat i just noticed... since thankgiving, teams that played on thursday are 7-1 ATS the following week. the only loss was dallas, against the giants, who also played on thursday. that makes me feel a little better about my pitt play, too.

cincinnati/sd under (43.5) 2 units. cincinnati has played 3 straight unders, 5 of their last 6, and 7 of their last 9. in their last 4 road games, one went over the total, and that was by one point.

tampa M/L 1/2.4 units. this is probably the first time i've ever recommended a money line play in the nfl. but as i said last week, the spread has not been a factor in a single seattle game all year. so if you like tampa, you gotta play the money line here. and yes, this pretty much guarantees seattle wins by less than 7 today.
