Fawking Draper, had all fawking day to clear the puck, decides to make a perfect pass to Foote. Got no help from the refs, either, when Forsberg skated in the crease in front of CuJo as Foote's slapper went in :thefinger. A little hard to take that loss, but moving on.

Chitty card for the dogs on Sunday, it looks like. Habs playing 3/4, B2B OTR in Wash. Canes in a major slide playing in Ana. Colorado swept Det in home and home series, will be primed for a let-down with likely Aebischer in goal, but Calgary is playing 3/4 OTR and coming off of a shocker in Edm, and after watching Edm get pushed around by the HAwks tonite, maybe they're just not that good right now. Making a medium play on the Wild and a small play on the Kings ML overnite, and will probably hook up a couple of favs on a 2-teamer and wait for Monday......

I read a few papers from Raleigh and it doesn't look very fun to be on that team right now. Paul Maurice kept 7 guys on the ice for 12 minutes of intense skating after their last practice. Let's just say that they didn't have nything gleeful to say in their interviews... I really don't see them winning anytime soon. Let's not forget that Brind'Amour and Cole probably their most gutsy players on team are out for a while. Their goaltending is still struggling. No positives for me to even think they will get out of a slump. The only positive would be for them to come strong after a hard practice but they did not respond in the way they needed after that practice. Negative vibes over there. No Canes play for me.

The Ducks are playing up to their potential these days and Ozolinsh's addition has provided that boost for them to feel confident going into the playoffs. Gigu?re is great as well. No signs of a letdown from them in my book.
