I put zero thought into this play until the game was a loser, then realized that if this was a college or pro football line, I would have been all over the OVER. I strictly bet the best numbers on the board (IMO) and it was two solid starters with good history against this opponent. 8.5 was over the 7 I was looking for and +105 wasn't the -120 I would have expected. I know some people will never go for the "sucker's bet" song and dance, but I think this was it. Live and learn.
