It's a jewel, that is semi forgotten about, due to Santa Barbara and Ventura, being close Enough to Los Angeles, without the major congestion, that the urban area brings..... Shoot...... I don't even have Air conditioning!!! 😃

I do have an uncle that used to live in Golden, CO BUT I have only been through the airport, transferring flights on United Airlines.
I have been to Philly twice....... I like the vibe, over there

Its all. Good.... Just over taxed.

Oddly, California has a many many, microclimates, especially during the summer. Like here in the coast, the majority do not have air conditioning, you go about 7 miles inland, and can't live without it.
During the winter, we get Santa Ana winds, that
make it able for one to go To The beach, w the offshore breeze, and be able to drive 2 hours away, for The slopes, in the snow..... Go Figure.
