Lets end Feast Week on a positive note!

George Mason ML -140 over South Carolina.....Mason is the better team, more chemistry and experience......after taking a step backwards last year, pretty much the whole team is back looking to reclaim its spot atop the CAA and get back into the tourney.....a win here gives them a 2-1 record in this tourney and some early season at-large credibiilty.......South Carolina has not shot the ball well in its first two games in this tourney and I think they'll have trouble keeping up with Mason......They hung with NC St because they were great on the glass, but the Cocks were dominated on the glass by PSU on Thursday, and I think scrappy Mason can take this aspect of the game......Mason first two foes in this tourney KSU and Nova are better teams than the one they're facing today, but they still will bring the motivation of beating a team from a power conference.

Feel bad for those who had them w/ the spread as woeful FT shooting cost them the cover.....should have cost them the win.

We're gonna keep playing tonight, and we're sticking with playing the money lines.

Villanova -170 ML over NC State.

Championship game of the Old Spice.....I factored Nova to win this tourney from the start, see nothing to push me out of that.....Scottie Reynolds will be the best player in the game......i like taking the team w/ the best player to win. ...while both teams look deep, Nova's has a more varied team, think they mix and match, and eventually find the right line up and get the W tonight......both teams look even, but if there is one edge, I think it rests with Villanova having better guards.

I know playing these ML's might be the easy way out, but I've won twice now during Feast Week on ML's w/ favorites who did not cover a small point spread....I did lose a ML on IU last night, but so far paying the extra juice has been a wise investment.....hopefully Nova will come through and I will still be towing that line in a few hours!

Tough loss there on Nova.....questionable foul call there at the end, but it is a long season. I am sure I'll get some questionable calls coming my way....but, still that hurts.....didn't see much contact there, and he gets three FT's because he was behind the line.....brutal!!!

I'm gonna go with the late play......hey, Feast Week is not over yet.

USC +3.5 over SIU. Just feel this will be a war, and I like the home edge the Trojans will have tonight.
