Does the way you cap your games always end up with more over games than under games, or do you just hate betting the under like I do? Good luck and thanks for the picks.

I do much prefer the over games but actually this is the way the games cap out for me. But I always, always feel better when they are on the OVER!!

Guys, just to add a different train of thought to the subject......i live by the unders. I probably outnumber my over picks by 5 or 6 to 1 on the under side. I dont know if it is the automatic 1 or 2 points (or more) that is filtered into the line by Mr. Book, or if it is just the fun of watching the clock spin down in your favor or the thrill of clunk, clink, clunk against the rim. Perhaps it is the love of pure defense. In any respect, my bag is the under. (football, also) If you check , the NBA unders have been doing very nicely lately and i think this year. At times, and I dont recommend this style for everyone, but when I have trouble capping NBA sides for the night...........If they look inviting enough, I will just run the table on an under play..............take all the unders . I do remarkably well with this. I wont make a killing with it, but usually come out a couple or few units ahead. It is not a system or anything like that, more of a gut instinct play along with knowing I am gonna get the extra point or 2 built in. That is just what works for me.

one thing to note:

sometimes with most of the teams a good play for Over is usually the first half.

I have seen number of games even with lousy roster come out strong and put up good numbers in the first half and then fade in the third or fourth quarter and not get the Over for full game.

Usually if the opponents are equally matched Over for full game is good since if its a close game can lead to fouls at the end.

btw just for the info .. i think Memphis is 6-0 UNDER this year when playing in the afternoon on the weekend ..

I agree here.

"Usually if the opponents are equally matched Over for full game is good since if its a close game can lead to fouls at the end.
I have to disagree here, as I sorta feel that this possible burst at the end is "figured into" the total line already. and, if the game isn't close, one team will sit on the clock .

Ooops....sorry, I forgot u played them, I forgot how the thread started yesterday & thought we were just gabbin'. I didn't mean to rub it in . I did the nasty myself & palyed an under. In college, tho & only for 1/2 unit. Lost it , of course, in 2 OT (ST JOE-TEMPLE)

Countinguy...........thanks for the invite, although I probably would not have alot of pertinent strong input for the 1/2 time show. I am there lurking once in awhile, tho. Sometimes I have more than enough to keep straight just trying to get a handle on sides & full game totals, much less half times. I think I have done 5 this season & have hit 2. GL to you guys, too, and thanks for realizing I wasnt being critical or rubbin it in......I was just trying to contribute some of my input to help out a bit. Naw, I'm not a pro either. I just watch & read alot & try to play with intelligence, discipline, good money management and then I go out lookin' for a bunch of Lucky Town. I just happen to like& do much better with unders $ wise. Don't know what it is, perhaps most of my good fortune lands just at the right time to coincide with my under plays.Last nite was a good example as I had SAC undr 202.5 & it landed on 202........GL to you & HIT EM MIGHTY HARD NEXT TIME THE HITMAN
