A couple of ugly losses in the Minny game and especially the ChiSox, ugh!!! But watching the M's win 1-0 despite Lilly's one-hitter sure was something, especially for an anti-Yankee fan.:toast:
Tons of day games, not sure if I'll get to look at all of them, but these 3 I'm definitely playing..........
Pitt-115x3 (Howard/Wells)
Same starters, one day late, same wager.
Dodgers+110x2 (Ishii/Cruz)
Despite what the critics say, I'm very encouraged by how Ishii toughed it out during the 6 hit, 6 run, 3 walk 2nd inning in Pitt and luckily got the win. 3 of his 4 starts are road games, and he never threw more than 95 pitches. Walks are a concern but Cruz is even more wild with WHIP over 1.4. Cruz gets rattled easily even though he has outstanding pitches. Ishii likely won't have to make many pitches to get out of innings today with the wild swingers the offensive Cubbie offense have.
Assholes+115x2 (Hernandez/Lopez)
I've always liked to go against a SP in his 1st start coming off of a injury, since most likely he will be on a pitch count no matter how sharp he is on the mound. Hou seems to be playing better with less interference from Jimmy, and with the ailing Braves bats, getting + return value is a good bet.
GOOD LUCK!!!
